LANCIA INTEGRALE STOLEN; please keep eyes peeled
Guys My flatmate's car went missing last night from Lakeside Shopping Centre, Thurrock, Essex. It's a NERO BLACK 16V LANCIA DELTA INTEGRALE = REG F148 TRK and is completely original. It has a Goodwood Festival of Speed sticker in the rear window and a Monza Autosport badging on the rear hatch Photo of it here: Can you please keep your eyes peeled - stolen from Essex area but had a fair bit of petrol in it and the time of theft is unknown, so it could have been driven anywhere before even being reported :( Any help appreciated - this has been posted on SXOC, GTIROC and MLR as far as I know, if you could post a link on any other forums you frequent would be great Thanks :(

Judder at speed
I've heard that Zed's can suffer with a propshaft vibration problem, think that affects lower speeds though. Try swapping wheels front to back (if you can) or checking their balancing.

Admittedly I've driven a K reg twin tubby 911 convertible and a K reg twin tubby modified zed and I preferred the zed to drive. The porsche was very cumbersome and awkward, especially the pedals - and the view out of the windows was disturbingly bad! Actually preferred the Porsche 944 S2 I'd driven the year before that - but again, not over the zed (Except maybe for handling, the S2 was very grippy and tight :) )

Anyone here ever driven a Mitsubishi 3000GT?
I had them down as around 1800kg as opposed to the zed being somewhere in the region of 1600? And yeah, when they go wrong, ooooh boy do they go wrong !!!

Yeah :) My low boost setting is at about 0.8bar on a T28, I doubt that'd give me more than 220-230bhp as 0.95 bar gives 253bhp fly - and 1bar just around 260 (not accurately measured). Car is as standard S13 kerb weight, maybe even a little heavier since I'm always carrying mountains of tools around with me. The Megane didn't impress me at all tbh. Admittedly though, the gearchanges he pulled off were pretty slick and the car didn't seem to bog down after clutching up again, whereas mine sometimes does.

Anyone owned/driven both an 200SX (S13) and 300ZX?
My s13 is running 260bhp and Crazy Eddie quite regularly pushes me down the A12 with ease  I did have the edge on him ONCE but I had to really nail the car and once we got over the ton I knew what was coming ;):( Having driven Edds' car on a couple of occasions I was suprised at how nimble it feels, despite being a fair whack heavier than my S13. It's actually very tight through the corners and only the masses of torque upsets it if the boot goes in harder than it should ;) Bumps, twisties and country lanes weren't half as nailbiting as I'd expected :) It feels a lot sturdier at speed too. On top speed challenge (ahem!!) day Edds took me down the runway at in excess of 150 and it's just so relaxed and capable. My car would have felt like it was about to come apart at the seams!

How Much Insurance
Oooooh feck yeah it will be bad to insure ;) I pay £800 for mine TPFT. With NCB, better postcode, licence over 5 years, 24yrs old etc etc etc I got the car when I was 19 and back then insurance premiums were a lot cheaper than they are now - and it was still £2200 then! so that would be 2 years older than PCboss, with licence a year or so longer.

300gt
not much of a drivers car in my opinion. Too gadgety and they have a habit of producing understeer at inopportune moments.

I'd slated SE's in a post earlier today, on another thread. Mac1 edited it - sorry matey, I didn't mean to go off on one but lost my temper a bit. Tried to PM you but can't on this board

yeah he has worked on mine - he did a tubby gasket change for me once :) Didn't put the waterfeeds back on mine tho. He did mention that he had to do it for someone else previously :) Was a nice guy :)

lemme guess - could be wrong - Alistair at Regency? SMV - my hate for em comes stems from more than just poor timekeeping. You think the timescales for "booked in" work are scary - you should try waiting for warranty work to be done  (which i've done many a time)
