I have been told that, your standard, run of the mill, high street Sat Nav speed indicator reads 10% lower than your actual/realtime speed. Is this true? Or is it 100% correct to the acutal car speed? On my Navman, it reads approx 10% lower in my 300, my "dirt bag" Citreon, and the wife's Golf. Al.

Am not sure what the real values should be, but after having my engine rebuilt by jimmer :bow: my oil pressure is 1-1.5 bar at idle, 2.5 bar normal driving, and 3-3.5 almost 4 bar when full throttle and revs. HTH. Al.

I have 550 venom injectors from the US. Good injector at a small price. Dont be put off from the early reports of flow rate, it all happened in 2005/6, venoms are now a great injector. Al.

Hi all, OK....... If you have bov's fitted (dump valves) and the spring rating is too high for the boost pressure to vent the valves (in the bov's), would this be bad for the tubs/engine etc. Al.

The "slight rattle" could be a small amount of detonation. If your injectors or maf are maxing out at 1 bar it could be this. Worth a thought. HTH. Al.

I disagree, Venom injectors from 2005/6 had bad teething problems, and yes people did ditch them. This year and last, the venom injectors have ironed out all flow rate problems and seem to be ok, going by forums, buyers and feedback. I have 550 venoms and they are good. Al.

Excellent matey..... have fun, it's the best circuit in the world!!!! If you have lowered, uprated suspension don't go on the lower part of the carousel, it's very harsh. In the centre of the the ring is a little village, forget the name, but has good bars and resturants. Have a good one matey, and get some piccies. Al.

I know you are very far from "jimmer", but it would be worth the drive to him for a complete rebuild. He will advise you on what you need and he does an excellent job. He has done mine and i have no complaints. A very trusted man for your 300 rebuild, and his costs a very cheap in comparison to some mechanics who think they know how the zed engine comes apart and is put back together. Al.

I had this problem some years ago...... I had a HKS induction kit fitted and the foam filter was old and breaking up. When i give it full throttle, the air being sucked in to the filter was breaking little pieces of the foam of and sticking to the wire in the MAF, thus, the MAF was unable to read the airflow for the ECU and the ECU cutting power to the engine, only for a split second, then back to normal. Changed the foam filter and never happened again. HTH. Al.

I have not got this kit, but i have purchashed from this company on e-bay. I bought a car amplifier and it was cheap, packaged well, fast delivery and everthing in the item description was correct. Good seller on e-bay imho. Al.

I have venom 550 injectors in my 300 and all seems well for over a year now. If you look at the forum debate on venom injectors, all the issues were approx in 2005-6. Maybe they have looked at the problems and overcome certain teething issues. I may buy some 740 venom injectors in the near future. Al.
