  19. Sorry matey, 0.1 MPH accuracy for GPS speed indicators!?!? If you have a link that backs this up then i will eat humble pie!! Al. Oh BTW............. THIS MY 1000th POST WWHHOOOO!!!!!
  20. So there is no time taken at all for the satnav to pick up a signal, transfer that signal to a satellite, reply that information back to the satnav, then satnav to translate this information into time related distance travelled. I am a bit sceptical matey, even if it would account to milliseconds, it cannot be that accurate. Al.
  21. So this could be the 10% reduction in speed display? al.
  22. Slower than a Satnav reading? Al.
  23. I can do them myself, 2 little screws under the surround for the guages, and i have put 2 holes so to slip in a small screwdriver and adjust as i drive, with a matey to hold the wheel!! Al.
  24. So, to sum up, GPS speed ratings are as close to real time speed as you can get. Is that correct? If so, i think i need to adjust my potentiometers on my 300, to get a good dial speed reading. Al.
  25. Is it not true that the time taken from the Satnav to the satellite, back to the Satnav to indicate the car speed, accounts for the 10% deflection in speed error? I don't know, maybe i am getting a bit old, and not staying in touch!!!! Al.
