  3. That is the best thing you can do matey, or.... spend hundreds or thousands on a guy/garage who claims they know what they are doing but in reality, they dont. Get your 300 to "Jimmer", no worries, no problems, just first class work!! Al.
  4. Jimmer again, top bloke, knows everything relating to a 300zx...... Now, how about who NOT to recommend!?!?! Maybe a thread could start here and keep the members safe! I know someone!!!! Al.

  17. There is a thread on this forum relating to the plenum pull. It looks easy if you label everything up and remember where the bits you remove, go back, if you know what i mean. I have not done it before, but, many people here, have. And, am sure, will guide you with this job, either through the forum or via pm. Al.
  18. What tubs did you put in at 20,000 ? Al.
  19. Yes buddy, plenum off. But you only have to do it once, unless something else goes wrong. It usually goes at the very rear, just above the tubs. Al.
  20. Hi matey, I had issues with my 300 last year, and took her to Jeff at Zworld to try and get it sorted after seeing many mechs, who claim they know how the 300zx engine works and have worked on many in the past. I spent over £1000 with these, so called knowledgable mechs and nothing. Anyway, went to Zworld and wow!! They spent approx 6-8hrs on my 300 trying to find the issues i had and, guess what...... They done it!!!!!! Got her running fine, and even stayed till 7pm on saturday until it was right. They even offered a cheap b&b, local, to try to sort the problem if it got too late. Get the ol' girl to Zworld, and you will driving home with the biggest smile on your face buddy. Al.
  21. Hi matey, i remember going to jeff at Zworld, and he told me that the covers do not have a gasket and are only sealed with sealant from new/as standard, and when they fail the oil drips down onto the turbo housing, causing the smoke, and oil soaked turbo, as in your pics. I may be a little wrong, but could be worth a call to jeff just to confirm. hth. Al.
  22. I will tell you now......... this guy "jimmer" and his buddy "darrell" they have got something going on here. Do not go anywhere else for a rebuild. Done my 300 in march/april time and i have never looked back, f***ing awsome!!!!! Jim buddy, you are a 300 wizard!! Al. P.S. will see you next year for a clutch and gearbox.
