Right, i got back to my car to find the big sticker on my screen, the letter was tucked under the wiper saying i was parked on private property and it would be £200 to release my car or they'd tow it and charge me £50 a day storage. So i rand the number and asked who they wre and all i got was a semi-litterate knuckle dragger saying over and over,"well there is a sign there mate you'll have to pay or we'll tow it mate" So i wen't to halfords and bought a co2 extinguisher and bolt cutters, cut the cone off the end and fired the entire contents into the lock then smashed it with the cutters.

Done that, CO2 fire extinguisher ant some bolt cutters, I phoned the clamping company and told them i had thier clamp and it would be £200 to release it back to them. :duffer:

Nope, just went to tesco, the quick way is 2 roundabouts and 3 minutes, mine was 10 roundabouts and 15 minutes plus the pleasure of parking the z by nailing the throttle so it slid into the space. awesome!

How long sould it take to change the nearside wing/arch liner and front bumper and will i need any special tools for the job?

Driving today and every time i slowed down to stop the battery light would slowly get brighter, it would light up completly at idle but go out if i revved it a little but still light up as soon as the revvs dropped. It's a new battery so whats up?

Blueprintig is a proces(sp) whereby the whole engine is stripped and ALL the tolerances are checked and put to the absolute perfect state as first designed in the engine blueprint. As tooling wears out the tolerances become slacker, a good example is the honda KA20 engine found in the type R the units produced at the start of the re-tool made upto 230hp on the engine dyno whereas the ones just before often only made 195hp. most engines are rarely spot on so a blueprint would give you better economy and performance.

Decided to change the steering wheel in my vento without dissconnecting the battery first, had a blown eardrum from the airbag for 3 weeks.

Where shall i start; In my first car, s13 200sx, i was approaching a roundabout when i could see a soft top merc full of girls cooming up to the entrance on my left so i thought," i know, i'll give it some tail out, that will impress them":xxx: so i gave it a bootfull in second on a shiney roundabout on standard rubber... For the next 10 seconds i saw trees/armco/trees/armco/trees/armco with plumes of smoke behind me :o About 6 monthes later i was waiting at some lights when an integra pulled up next to me, so we both start giving it revs when the lights go green, i dump the clutch and....nothing the clutch had completly shat itself. Went to sleep in one car and developed hypothermia. Put a shopping bag with cans of beer in the rear foot well and after they rolled around for about half an hour one of them struck the seatbelt mount and fired its contents all over the insde of the car. There's probably more :smw:
