I think it was important enough to warrant a blanket pm, after all in the last week i've had a pm to remind me to vote for car of the month and to update my e-mail. So why no pm for something that affects the club directly?

What was the point of that?! The poll said that the majority were in favour of a split but the last but one post by big kim said that the majority wanted no change, so why post the poll?!

They're ok, the light from them is more or less a direct beam though.
