HIDs do need a big current to start even if the power draw once they're on is lower - this might be a battery issue?

I'd guess £15-20K on top of the car itself. Those wheels aren't cheap and it'd wat a top resparay after the bodykit is fitted. I'd be amazed if you could do it for under £10k. Check out Jason Farrow's 'The Beast' if you haven't already. I think that's a superb example of what you can do if you have a few bob to play with.

Mine did that - it was the alternator belt. Easy fix if you can get under the car and take the splash guard off.
