My sisters are buying me a track day at Oulton Park for my crimbo prezzie :D So i need a helmet. I may aswell buy one as if i like the whole tracking experience i'd like to do it more often and also i'm guessing i'm gonna need one for the Nurburgring in the summer time. Only want summit cheap, can you get em for like £30? Recommendations please, with links if possible :) Taa, Isaac :cool:

Both gonna be pretty dull to drive i would imagine mate. Especially the merc, a rather unexciting prospect IMHO. If i had to choose between the two it would be the Mini tho. If you have that kinda money to play with i'd certainly be looking at FAST stuff :D

No probs bud, not to sound unsympathetic but its quite an interesting topic really. I don't think many people even consider buying a spanky new engine never mind research into it. I would of thought it will just be written off tbh mate :( But maybe you can buy it back and start over with it. Depending on how much wonga they refund you, you could look into highly modded rebuilt engines. I know every now and again one crops up like the Jun engine not long back. That was like a 3.1 or 3.2 engine with a stroker kit etc.... whatever all that stuff is, not that tech minded lol. Isaac :cool:
