Now there is something i never knew!!!! I'd probably still just risk it myself tho, how much detail do they add to the database? It may well just show up as still MOT'd till the end of the month. Is it worth taking it to another testing station and see if they pick up on what the current job's worth has.

Nah i'm with you mate, the open ones seem a much better idea for what i want. Just been having a quick gander on ebay and i can't quite find one i like. I don't want shiny bits stuck to it, but then again i don't wanna look like a huge dildo :rofl: Not as much choice when you start looking at XXL but i'm fairly certain thats what i'll need in order for it to be comfortable. Am gonna have to have a proper look at each one and maybe post up here for peoples opinions lol.

Well the Nitro ones someone mentioned above are only about £30, that sounds like it'll do the job. At the end of the day if get into it i can always get a better one further down the line. Which is best? Closed or open? Which are you going for/prefer? I could buy a zed for that :rofl: You seem like you'd be well up on this stuff Jimbo. Am i looking for a closed or open helmet?

Nah i'd run without one if i was allowed! I ain't on a friggin bike i'm in a car! Just want something cheap so they'll let me on the track :) I'm not planning on rolling my car, i'm not an idiot, this is my very first time and believe me i will be taking it very easy indeed!

They look good for if you want to keep it looking fairly 'factory standard'. But if you aint particularly bothered i too would just recommend K-Sports, they're super duper IMHO and also a fantastic price. You can just buy em in this country and save muckin about etc....
