  1. Tes but look at the shot of the back seat and rear panels.... That certainly belongs to older models
  2. Only the passenger door ! Because the door was punctured in the collision by the motorcycle. How it was the day before Hole in door - why I need new one And a Front wing
  3. Long live the Green Meanies !
  4. Yep looking forward Hope all the bruises have gone by the time I get it back I've some deep bruising coming out from the seat belt and that's taken over a week to show !
  5. It's a bit of an oddball this one because it's got the 95-98 spoiled but still go a tweed interior and matching seats. I thought that when the spoiler designated the upgrade it would have the corresponding interior ?
  6. Well, having had the body shop order a door and wing from Japan on 23/12 the finally got the wing delivered last Wednesday. When they asked where's the door they said 'oh we couldn't get one . They're not made any more' The body shop went ape saying you effing well could have told us. But to no avail. So, new doors no longer available ex Japan ! Got on to Mr F and he's got a good clean one I'm picking up tomorrow. Then up to Coleshill on Wednesday to drop it off and back up home and then Take the zed back down to get it fixed finally ! Whoopee my zeds going to be back on the road all nice and shiny and new !
  7. No I don't think you are After all the work I had done on mine from what looked like mine surface rust to reveal major work They start fixing my green one next week waaaayay ! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. Oh yes, and it doesn't com as far forward either, that's why I put a 99 spec on plus you can actually use the rear view mirror with a 99 spec on !
  9. If It's got a whole that size by the filler cap wonder what the rest of the back end looks like rust wise ?
  10. It's Just the wrap around 95 - 98 spoiler I think
  11. 01277 374 201 It's in the traders section of this site !
  12. Hi Richard Apologies if it wasn't Julia..... Who the hell was it that posted that thread then ? Because they gave a warning that the usual tolerances didn't apply......
  13. The original intention was to catch drivers speeding between variable speed gantries where there was no camera so further enforcing the current variable speed. But then I think there was a decision to leave them on at 70 when no variable speed was enforced. And from what I've been told 70 means 70 On another note Richard you posted a while ago about Julia greeting caught on the M42 section and I thought you said that that was very close to the limit then and not with the 10% +2 mph ? 14. I think that's when they were being put up and may not have been active
  15. well as I said earlier on the section of the M25 that's live the police switch of the camers periodicaly becacuse they cant keep up with the number of tickets issued !
  16. Not according to some guys at work ......
  17. I wish I could invent a grey box that would make as much money as they do ! They are going to stay live at 70mph even when the varaible speed camera isn't on and no variable limit shown. As Adam says war on the motorist
  18. Received this email from Beatthespeetrap.co.uk Hi Tony Bradley, Further to the last newsletter I sent you on 21st January, which disclosed plans to put "stealth" average speed cameras on the M42 and M6 that will have a zero tolerance to speeding... It seems the story is getting worse. It's now been reported that the Highways Agency are also planning to install the cameras on six stretches of Smart Motorway over the next two years, including on the: M1, M4, M5 and M23. ...as well as on the M42 and M6, as I mentioned in the last newsletter; ...and the M25, where they are already in operation. It seems that the "War on the Motorist" is coming back in full force... All the best, Adam
  19. I doubt it would have helped because I wasn't using any power at the point It started to slide. I think it was the fact that I was straitening out from the bend at the top of the hill so I was doomed as soon as one wheel hit the stuff. If I'd been going perfectly straight it might have been a different outcome
  20. Thanks Gary I appreciate your comment
  21. Yes I know It's a crying shame The guy behind me who stopped to see if I was ok said there was absolutely nothing you could have done to prevent it. Another car went up the bank about 150 yards further on but didn't do anything to the car and an Audi A3 on the other side spun and overturned but no one was seriously injured.
  22. I wrote off Jan's Zed on Thursday. Got a few cuts and bruises and big pain where the seatbelt diagonal was. On the A64 on the Malton bypass. There's a long drag up an incline, then it goes into a right hand bend and just before the bend ends starts on the downward descent. About 500 yards further on is a layby where a camera van hides sometimes. I came up the long drag slowed to about 50 - 55 foe bend and was looking for the camera van when I hit an unsalted outside lane full of snow and slush and ice. Well it started to slide I corrected but I must have over corrected or something because it went off the road and the all hell broke loose It demolished a small tree with the back end the wheels dug in to the soft eart so the for from suspension offside was ripped out and wheel ended up at about 45 degrees from where it should be. The back end is out of of alignment as well after the argument with the tree It came to rest facing the right way in a very sorry state. There are some nice bits on it that are worth salvaging It's a 98 version R NA Auto It's got a good engine and gearbox and the engine has all the earth straps done It's got the electric drivers and passenger seats from my Green Zed Its got the Version R skirts and I want the interior cards if we can do a salvage. Insurance wise it's fully comp and we'll have to see how much they offer and how much we can buy it buy it back for. All Very sad news
  23. There was an article in London that said the cameras were being switched off periodically because the police couldn't cope with the number of tickets being generated !
  24. You can't do that to these. They're on the the motorway wide Gantries for Variable speed limits.
  25. I don't think they were installed then..... I only noticed them on Sunday for the first time Once you know what look for they're easy to spot - Grey box usually on the side of the Gantry with a what looks like a cctv camera attached or at the side of it but, which is, in fact an ANPR camera... Been talking with a guy who knows ! They're dead sneeky !
