  1. Cheers everyone!! Working away until tomorrow so no celebration til then
  2. I did my engine at the end of summer last year. Not sure if I could get down to you but would be more than happy to answer any questions by PM or phone if you need an instant answer. It's not as bad as you think and with some pointers from here (invaluable !) you will get through it.
  3. Thanks :hyper:
  4. Logging off now so maybe see some of you guys and girls tomorrow. Will kepp a look out when the 1st game is done (about 3.30) until the next starts (7.15).
  5. Cheers for that, I think the plan is a spring clean of connections, plugs with emery and WD40 as well as new plugs. If it's stil bad then try idead above.

So are we going to have a meet in South Wales soon? What's happened to the REO?
  7. I'll give myself a :slap:
  8. I don't know how to tell if the coil pack is at fault or the wiring going to it causes it? The car has a misfire on at least 2 cylinders. I was hoping there was a way to test the wiring, i.e. take some readings across the pins with a volt meter.
  9. Wouldn't this test only show which cylinder the problem is on. If there is no spark it could due to the coil pack or connector, how do I which one is causing it?
  10. I assume it's best to do it with a spark plug in?
  11. 65K  Want a pint of what he's been drinking!
  12. Great, I'll ignore that then and fix the misfire then.
  13. I have read the posts about the coils packs but still can't work out how you tell if the connection/connector ir crap or it is the coil pack? Is there a way to test the electrical pulses at the connector, should they have set values?
  14. Defo one of the above causing as the car has a misfire at the moment, about to post another question about that!
  15. Should I worry as it goes out quite quickly?
  16. So clubs charge a few quid to get in but I can normally get a few in free!
  17. I have a red warning light on the car when I've driven it for the first time to the MOT station. It is above the hicas light and to the right. Looks a bit like a horinzontal rectangle with 4 vertical lines coming from it above and below? Any ideas? Only came on under slight load then when out.
  18. At least you've got some saw dust if there is a petrol or oil spill from the crash!
  19. Info here http://www.icesheffield.com/pages/117/contact_us.html I have a boring game at 14.00 and the better game at 19.15
  20. Yeh, there still good!! :slap:
  21. Show starts at 7.15, I'll be the one in the black and white stripey top and orange arm bands :D
  22. It's at the new place! Just wonder how many punch ups there will be?
  23. So do you polish it or varnish it? And I guess you don't get rust but the dreaded wood worm.
