Anthonyd's Project 2 Build
Going to put more pics in my journal but the latest updates. Got all the plenum pipes back on and everything connected but the car wouldn't start, tried for ages  Checked power to coils etc and eventually found a faulty cas plug, bit of adjustment and straight into life all be it a little rough. No water leak and all seemed ok, next day started it again and white smoke started billowing from the engine bay! On investigation a coil pack was melting, a quick call to Geoff confirmed my findings, a friend when soldering on new coil pack plugs did one of them the wrong way round, luckily I had a spare and ZX-TT sent me another to sort it. As a last minute idea decided to send it off for MOT as all the shocks have also been done and lowered 25mm. Results here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=148939 but I do now have a MOT  This week the flocked boot panels arrived, sourced a manual conversion (ready for winter), picked up front leather seats and rears last week. Today I have started to strip the interior out to change for leather and flocking of the front panels. Interior went from this to this Then stripped the boot To find this A bit of a disaster :cursing: but at least I have found it early while there is plenty of metal to weld a new plate to.

single turbo
You need, Turbo Manifolds Intercooler Hosing Forged bottom end Big Intjectors If you thinking about doing your N/A it may be worth going for a small/low pressure turbo or have you thought about supercharging as less hardware needed. Got 235 bhp out of a 160bhp Peugeot engine once, 40% increase isn't bad on a 1.9!

Wasn't to expensive for the conversion as long as your engine has a forged bottom end.

Called the garage today as I've been away a few days and it still hasn't had the retest!!! How bl@@dy annoying, promised for tomorrow now. I know it won't be taxed until next month but want to strip the interior and prep it for paint so would be helpful if it came back!!!!
