  1. Why reags it????? it's excess weight you don't really need. cut it out and file it under "R" for rubbish
  2. i wouldn't bother mate just drain the oil and change the filter. This will be more than suffiecent
  3. Lol yeah i kinda guessed that mate. If you check the web page for them they do other grades as well mate including a 10w 40 which is more than suitable for the 300's :nana2:
  4. Try this mate it may help a bit http://300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi

  6. Try this mate hope it helps. http://300zx-twinturbo.com/cgi-bin/manual.cgi :nana2:  :headvswal
  7. The lambda sensor does sound like it is at fault mate. You will find them on the downpipe at the front of the exhaust. The right side of the vehicle is the drivers side as if your looking at the vehicle from the rear. The blue connector on the ECU mate has a 10mm bolt that holds it in to stop the connector from falling out. Loosen the bolt and make sure it's pushed into the control unit correctly then just tighten the bolt till you feel it pinch. This is all the tightening torque you need on it mate.
  8. i beleive the 1997 - 2000 p11 matrix is the one you require. There are two models in the P11 which are the p11 and the p11e (facelift) it's the pre-facelift model you want. Most Nissan garages will be able to source one for you and supply the part number. If you get a good garage they will also V.O.R (next day delivery) the part for you. But i second what radron said about the vents they are very brittle so use a trim tool or flat screw driver to compress the spring clips holding them in. as for the rest of the dash try masking the edges up to avoid sratching any surfaces. Other than that good luck. and i await a smart arse comment to correct me lmao
  9. Just to inform you all i have just discovered a new oil brand. It's called "Q Horse Power". It's recommended by Ferrari and is what they use in the Enzo. It's a little expensive and come in different grades but is well worth it. Now the downside. I have only seen the oil for sale in the states and you have to get it imported, but is well worth it. Even my M5 loves it. Check it for yourselves. http://www.Qpower.com
  10. there is a new fully synthetic oil out called "Q Horse Power" it's a 5W-30 and fully recommended by Ferrari. It's a little expensive because of the Ferrari Recommendation but is well worth it. My M5 loves it and will be using this from now on. Check out http://www.Qpower.com
  11. Base Idle is 750 +/- 50
  12. As a repeat of above the only cable is the handbrake cable. Have you checked the brake pedal bushes as sometimes when they wear they can sound like the noise is from the rear?
  13. As part of the AAC valve illustrated above you will find a black plastic adjustment screw in it. If you take this completly out on the end of it you will find a small filter. Give it a good clean and then re-fit. Once you have done this take the electrical plug off the top and apply some WD-40 to the terminals and re-fit. This should solve the problem. It is a more than common fault upon all Nissans for some reason over looked by most garages upon servicing.
  14. Could be that the remote fob has possibly dropped it's rolling code. Fob may need to be re-programmed
  15. check the aac valve. with ignition off take out the black screw on the AAC unit and you'll see a small filter on the end. Give it a quick clean with some brake cleaner etc and re fit. Will have to find the correct setting when re-fitting to maintain correct idle. 5 min job but causes big problems lol Common fault on all Nissans.
  16. MMM nice !!!! i'm hearing cooked vavle stems, warped con rod bearing the whole she bang :(. Did the head gasket blow??? if so could be that it got overheated and dropped a piston hence the rattle... Only a guess though without hearing or checking myself mate.
  17. It's a breather hose
  18. Try replacing the clutch release bearing, especially if the noise disappears when you dip the clutch
  19. you sure it's a fan belt squeal and not the clutch release bearing???
  20. Personally the Pirelli P zero's. there not mega expensive but for what you pay you get an amazing tyre. Great grip, tend to last a while (depending on how you drive) :) and look good too
  21. If you go to a Nissan GB garage we use 10W30 oil but would personally go for a 10W50
  22. they won't fit mate. not without rolling the arches. However, are the spacers thick enough that you could have them milled down so that there not as thick??
  23. Also just thinking about it, could also be a possible sticky caliper. When checking the pads look for un even pad wear and make sure that the pistons go back into the caliper fully
  24. Braking vibration and lack of stopping power tends to point towards a warped disc, but first i would check to make sure that the pads fit the caliper housings correctly as most braking vibrations are caused by the pad vibrating inside the holder against the disc (if that makes sense?). If the pads turn out to fit well then i'd go along the warped disc path and change the discs
  25. Karl mate hows life going since the treasury. Hope the ccars keeping well :slap:
