Thanks guys I would really like to get hold of any Tamiya kits so if anyone has seen any, or has any, they could pass on, eigther built or unbuilt I would be over the moon as for making true replicas, wheels should be no problem I have boxies of them along with other bits and pieces. I have also heard of some other Jap kit makers but as yet dont have the makers names so if any one can help it would be much appreciated I have found severall models of the new 350 so I may have to start there. Stue mate I take it the driver side is working, so pop the switch and try a live on the feed to the motor. That way you know if its the motor or the switch. If the motor runs see if you have a live to the switch. If not It could be the window lock on the driver side.If the motor doesnt run at all its back to the hammer. No I did'nt mean that. There is a small acces hole through the speaker pod, you may be able to reach the motor and feel for any loose conections. Other than that try and remove the door card with the seat belt intact Good luck, ChrissyP

Yes your right its a 2+2, and yes you do have to mod the legs but it must be worth it. How did you know it was a type 3? Its the first one in the country with the carbon fiber top panel, or so I'm told. It goes with the full Stillen body kit just fitted. You can see some of it on Stu's post under Essex meet pictures. Had cause to remove the rear spoiler on the Z. It was rotting away and had lost most of its paint so it was time for a new one. I chose a new Stillen number which stands on pedistals so it was off with the old. After removing the bolts and gently sliding a thin blade all the way under as carefuly as posible I eased the six fixing clips away and with much pulling and tugging it came away. Only to find that some butcher had previously extracted it with a shovel and an axe. The top of the tail gate looks like the Alpes only with no snow on them. So its a big thank you to the last owner or may be the one before, looks like I have some work to do before Billing Oh on the good side the perspex replacement panel fitted perfect and the brake light shines really bright so I'm well pleased with that. Sorry to go on but I got no one else to winge to! Till the next tim... Chris.

thanks Stu I may have to have a drive over so you can have a look. Hope its not the heater altho it never seems to get verry hot in the cold weather.. May be I could come over one night this week We could make it an excuse for a beer (if your off the pills)

I to run NA. I went for the ZX because of what it looked like not what it went like. Sorry but if you want a race car you should have gon Skyline..If you really want to increase BHP then you wont beat Stillen, they say Intake, Headers and Exhaust will give you up to 40bhp still less than a turbo and a lot of dosh! Nitrous how ever can give you an instant 100bhp on a stock motor but you can only use it for a few seconds So why not just sit back and take a look at what you have A nice looking car, 25mph, reliability then watch and listen to them all moaning because their turbos have broken again! I drove 15,000 miles in minelast year, some of them are lucky if they do 1500 Nissan built the NA because people wanted them. People like you and me!! there just cool cars and I love them!!

Can anyone help I'm getting a strange hissing noise from inside the dash (top center) every time I add power. The noise goes away when the power is off or when I'm coasting along. Some times this noise is joined by a short girgle (like bubbling liquid). I cant find any air leaks under the hood, so thought it may be in the AC. any idears any one!!! Thanks Chris

I need to repaint my rear bumper but am unshore on how to remove the old paint. Should I rub it off or can I use a stripper on it? Anyone done any work on the rubber panels who can help?

I went for the Stillen kit Front chin spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper and the new type 111 rear wing. It's gona look the dogs...... all be ready for Billing.

Easy.. Just remove the side light/indicator unit and look in side you will see the nut that holds the spot in place!!!!!

CB. radio has been used in the UK since the mid 70's It came in from the States on AM totaly illegal and soon became huge, to the point that the then government thought there was some cash to be made by licencing it. So was but only on FM. There was a rush to get the first sets, but within 2years it hade died out. You can still find moddles for sale both new and second hand (loot is a good place) I once had a set that was good for 60 miles in open country but in town it went down to 5 or 6. A mobile set will require an external antenna, usually magnetic this will give a good clear signal. You will have to learn a new language though! So have fun, Keep your shiny side up and your greasy side down, dont go without a foxy lady as your seat cover, and I'll catch you on the flip side, And that's a big 10-4 good buddy!!

Yeah mate The sid skirts are made by Stillen and are type III, the rear bumper is also Stillen GTZ-R made only for the short wheel base Zs, The rear wing again Stillen GTZ II But the wheel arches look custom made allmost Ford Escort or Focus Like on rally cars, Cant see the front but you can guess it's .. you got it Stillen, and all megga bucks!!!
