well folks, i've just heard back from the auto spark that was having a look at my ignition problems. Looks like my ignition switch is f**ked! And there is not any available in the country, so they say! So they've ordered one from holland and i should be getting my zed bk by next weekend, all going well!

i recently had my engine rebuilt by jimmer and went with the gt600r's. not unleashed their full potential yet, still in the run in stage, but even running 12psi....they are monsterous (compared to stock!)

Well, i'll see him at work on monday. See what he can do!

My mates a traffic cop so i could see if i can pull a few strings to get ahold of one!

just a thought but is there anyone staying over for the JapFest show, the weekend after the Z008 weekend? I'm wanting to go to both but dont wanna travel down and come back up to go down again the following weekend....if that makes sense.

well, we checked the wires coming from the battery and alls well. Checked all the fuses in both fuse boxes and nothing is blown. Confused me but its booked into an auto sparks for thursday morning, so all going well, i'll have it bk for the weekend!

Erm, yeah....about that! I took the zed upto the local asda on thursday night, did my shopping and came back out. Put the key in the ignition and got absolutely nothing! Called out the breakdown people and the towed it to a local garage. When i spoke the the people at the garage, they said that they dont wanna touch it! Totally Raging! :cry: :cry: :cry: So i tried a local auto spark who is happily gonna have a look at it for me, on thursday morning. So as long as its something simple and easily fixed, i should till be able to make it to the cruise!

Its the first thursday of the month in the Retail Park in the middle of falkirk. And no, it aint an exclusive zed meet. Its just alot, and i mean alot, of different cars meeting up in the car park. But since the christmas meet didnt happen, it would be nice to meet some people from here!

Wise words......not very easy to execute in these machines though!!!! I managed to stick to 60-70 for the 430 mile drive home, so it's well under way to be run-in! Just need to get a nice set of Greddy SMIC's and a brakes upgrade........and i'll need to speak nicely to Mr Dixon for a remap!

My mate wrecked one of his alloys on his EVO 6. I'm sure he said that someone in leeds repaired it for him and cost nowhere near £300! I'll get ahold of him tonight and give ya a pm if he remembers the place that did it!
