Whats the V8 from originally? If its a yank item, does anyone else think its a bit sacriligeous... I say this only as a jap purist, im not saying I dont like it. Cant beat screaming high revving jap engines!

Hmmm, ive always wanted my engine bay cleaner, but never been tempted to use a hose or jet wash! Time for some elbow grease, grazed knuckles and some good rags.. I use a bit of de greaser and get stuck in. Have you got an undertray? they keep the engine bay so much cleaner.

Actually I just moved here about 3 weeks ago, havnt seen any Z's yet, but saw 2 R33 white skylines today. Im next to the KP factory, smells like a fry up all day, lol... Ive got slick petes old SWB slicktop, wrapped up nice warm n secure in my garage!

Better still, get a length of wire and create a new earth altogether and supply that directly to said fan motor.

I have the same problem, but im lazy and havnt investigated at all, shamefull really as im a mechanic... After reading this thread I think nzniggles was right the first time, re check your earth.

Welcome GTM, ive been using my na for 2 and a half years now as my daily driver, apart from costing a fair bit on fuel... and only having two seats which has been an inconvenience a few times, ive had completely trouble free motoring. I may be a little bias, being a mad nissan fan, but you really cant go too wrong with a nissan! all the best of luck mate.

just prefer straight sixes to v sixes, only one head gasket and turbos can be changed with engine in situ
