you would never hear the low end bass from them as the sub would overpower them. ive kitted out many competition cars in the past so this is nothing new to me :D

if you only want to run mid & top end from your door & rears, then it wont make any difference sealing them. it would be a waste of time.

si, with the zed, theres not enough room to build a proper sized box to fit either the left or right side of the boot, so a ported box is out of the question. as darrell has said, you need to just make a box how you want it to look, but make sure its airtight, this would be sufficient for what you want it to do.;) HTH

there has to be a bad connection somewhere along the line, either a bad live or earth. ideally you could do with a test probe to see which it is, thats what i use, it saves a hell of a long time arsing about.

only thing i can think of then is the connection at the pump, either the pins on the pump, or the connectors in the plug. :(

is there a live & earth going to the fuel pump ? have you checked if theres fuel at the tank side of the fuel filter ? i have known them get blocked, but not sure if its possible on the zed. worth a shot.

does the car have an immobiliser ? if so, then it could be the internal relay thats gone pear shaped.

unfortunately, i am being serious, ask duffer lol. looks like its leaking through the head gasket & into the exhaust. seems my rebuild will be sooner rather than later now. am going to get it checked out to be sure first though.

the paperwork is included in the box, yes. but what hes on about is, whoever fills it in HAS to be VSIB registered, otherwise the insurance company can refuse to insure it. ALL cat1 alarms have to be fitted to a certain standard.

you need to have it fitted by a reputable company who is VSIB registered. best bet is to look in the yellow pages under car alarm/security & give a few a ring for quotes. at a guess, you would be looking at around the £350 mark fitted.

toad ai606 cat1 with a dual zone microwave sensor fitted. with a dual zone, that allows you to arm the alarm with the windows down & roofs off, plus also puts a bubble round the car so if anyone goes too close it gives a warn away bleep. the only problem you will have is, when the alarm is fitted, it HAS to be fitted with everything supplied in the box, which includes the interior sensors. these HAVE to be turned down to the minimum to prevent false alarms.

there has always been discrepancies as to whether a record can be classed as a one hit wonder, or not. this is an extract from wikipedia (The definition of "one-hit wonder" varies depending on context, such as sometimes viewing only hits in the U.S. despite having other, international, hits.). a couple that i can remember from that youtube video like : ha-ha & men at work had more than one record entered into the uk charts, yet i have seen men at work on one hit wonder compilations before for some reason. my definition of one hit wonder, is exactly as it says, ONE HIT only. ;)
