ah looks like they fooked up as after i got the email saying thats all they were offering i got a text saying to call then and they said nope was a mistake and here is a check for 2500 :o so not to bad then i guess.

What a bunch of W*****S they are, just got an email saying they will not increse the quote! and need to respond within 7 days. any ideas on this? can they do that? can make more from telling them i want car back and breaking it myself.

Hey you guys should try flying there, I have been a few times with a mate, we fly out from blackbush and do a air tour of the island, then we land and are met by another mate from the local car rental, where we hire a car for the day, then just before the sun sets, we fly back out, cant beat landing just before the sun sets. IF anyone is intrested in going let me know and will arrange it. will post up some pics from when i last went. On a side note if you are gonna change chips in your ecu a lot i would recomend fitting a ZIF socket, makes changing a chip easy as flicking a leaver and lifting out.

Its called a chip extractor, maplin sells them cheap

I agree with that, have the book and its superb explains it all but is a little complex in places.
