I think I came across wrong - I have the utmost respect for teachers who are actually good at what they do, and there are more than a few of them out there including close friends and family! The ones I was referring to were the ones who literally read out of a book and often got things wrong and had to be corrected by the STUDENT who did the reading beforehand!! The ones who really came across as being there for the paycheck and were clearly regretting choosing the profession! As for misbehaving kids - back to my point about parents! It all links in with chavs/yob culture/benefits lifestyle/call it what you will...bit annoying! And I would say bring back flogging for the chump causing the disruption but then in today's climate, that would just bring back a humiliating punishment for the teacher in question by any and all, not to mention they'd probably get 'capped' by the student and his mates on their way home!!

Wouldn't want to cause any offense to anyone on here, but its not about the school or the teachers or the community. If the parents are strict enough, the kids will listen. I turned out ok ( i think!) and its not becsause of my teachers, most of whom were thick as pig sh*t themselves!! Its because my parents took the time to teach me stuff themselves and instilled it in me that an education is the way forward!! I also strongly believe that this is the reason you see alot of ethnic minorities rising in high end jobs/education - they, like my parents realised that without educating yourself, your not worth sh*t in this country! and you'll never get REAL respect...not the type of 'respect' all these chavs/wanabe gangters THINK they have... Ok, rant over! All IMHO of course...

Free weights....if you are serious about changing your body for the better, buy some, learn the exercises and go heavy! The same as someone saying they are serious about owning a Zed and then buying the corgi version....no point in it.

agreed. I've been a fan of all the games and there certainly wasn't anything 'hitman'-like and stealthy about 95% of that film! Don't think the lead really did 47 any justice either....and too much comedy!

a lot of you are indeed commenting as westerners have become to be expected to react - i agree there are a lot of very small minded people on both sides of the fence and it will take a great deal of work to get people to see eye to eye - no offence meant but it's not rare to see it on these forums! however, a little understanding and acceptance that you do not know all and understand all would go a long way to harmonising the different cultures we experience in our day to day lives. In short, sometimes agreeing to disagree is sometimes the only way! Ignorance and intolerance is not the way forward. The same goes for smartarse comments... :nono: All IMHO...

I find that if I'm applying too much pressure with the blade it leaves a sore rash like skin behind....but I've found soft strokes work better even though you have to go over 2-3 times...still leaves a clean shave with baby soft skin!!

I've been a fan of 47 since the first game was released way back when but having seen the trailer the movie looks a lot more 'action' packed Die-Hard stylee than Hitman with his silent tactics....so not sure what to expect. Hopefully will be pleasantly surprised!

...you all know it....and you HATE it! Just when you think you're home safe and not quite as drunk as you thought...you get into bed and shut your eyes....and it begins....!! I would have thought that a decent meal (2pc chicken, chips, doner meat and salad) would have worked...and if not....the 30min walk in the freezing rain (mostly uphill!) but no....I get to bed and there it is!
