I 100% agree with you there err Rich.I know enough abought tunning from my old mini,escort days to realise what you read is not always fact.Example look at the Lotus twin cam :hurl: When id finnished completely rebuilding my MK1 Mexico i was offerd a twin cam.Fooking biggest mistake of my life.Only becouse people where raving about them.There was me a apprentice mechanic on £35.00 a week trying to build a decent car when Joe Bloggs down the road who owned a garage was changing engines every week and thinking nothing of it,and saying how fooking great they where. The internrt is a great place where you can get mmuch more information,much more choice and a competetive arena for trade,where as before all we had was the weekly mag wich we took as gospal.

Yeh the only problem is,is that when you turn he ignition off its always in the wet setting.Also it would be a little dificult to operate the launch facility from there.

I spoke to him 2 weeks ago and he said there had been a mix up in the shipping so they would be here in about 3 to 4 weeks. Half the order had arrived but the other was shipped later. He was very apolagetic.

LOL Shaun you heard mine the other week and its the same as yours.But dont forgett mines a SWB so its proberbly louder in the cab. Its a little worying at firstbut but believe me you will grow to love it,its awesome when it starts to rasp.

Yeh i had the same problem so i tuned it down half inch in the lathe.

I got a short shifter from fleabay and a Razo Knob from Harrys. ;)

I remember the first day i bought it i took it around to show my son (he Was 8 then).The look on his face was priceless.We went for a drive around town with the roof off and he was grinning more than me.He still gets a kick when i add something new to it.He would never talk to me again if i sold it LOL :hyper:

Hiya Steve ive still got the same problem allthough at least it works when its switched off,so i dont think it is the digi adjuster now.

Hi Guys can anyone help me? I have just fitted a Racelogic Traction Control Digital Adjuster and the car wont go over 2000 rpm without missfireing. On the original adjuster it was working great,the problem only started when i fitted the new one. Does anyone have the correct settings to wriye into my laptop please? Thanks Steve. :confused:

Yeh i got the same one and turned about half an inch where the stick tapers to fit a Razo gearnob from Halfrauds.Just got to change the box now LOL. But hopefullythe begining of next week should do it. :bow:

Yeh thats the one i used its fool proof a great write up.

Ive just fnished fitting one and if this bloody rain ever stops ill fit the digital adjuster. But apart from thjat they are pretty straight forward.Just take your time. Good Luck'
