Hi Mac yeh i spoke to him he says hes waiting for the engine to be transported from Preston to Rotherham. As i said i would do it myself but im working in Spain at the mo and when i do get home its only from Friday to Sunday and the Mrs wouldnt be to happy if i trundled off on a Saturday for the day with a V6 engine in the back of our new BMW X5 LOL. So the wait continues:(

Go with the ACL white metal bearings theyr very highly rated in the states all the big HP engines have been using them.If Thor have problems drop me a line as my local engineering shop gets them cheaper than you can get them from Aus or the States.

Yeh ive got the above except the oversized valves and ive gone for Sard 850cc injectors with the Border fuel rail and i had my exhaust x pipe and downpipes coustom built by Leon at Alunox. What manifold have you decided to go for?

Hi Jaff i will be running a simular set up to you. wiseco pistons Tomie 260 cams with solid lifters and springs ACL bearings (white metal Austrailian) Garrett GT28R tubs Pentroof (copy) manifolds (not ebay) PE twin filters ETC But i am only going to up the rev limit to 8000,using the AEM. I also have 2 EUAGO gauges and wideband sensors to warn me if things start to go wrong. I also have Defi gauges oil press,water temp,boost,and oil temp. In fact its getting so clutterd i have now had to get a 3 piller pod.

I have the temp air sensor 3 bit map sensor and 2x euago guages and sensors.(one for each bank)

Well after much deliberation i have finaly bought a decent family car. The Mrs is always foing on about how impractical my 300swb is so i thought i would shut her up with this. A 2005 BMW X5 deisel turbo sport,fully loaded. Now she wont say a word against my beloved car LOL

I,ve just bought a BMW X5 on a 05 plate as my daily runner and i cant get the comms pack to work properly.Well the bluetooth mobile phone bit anyway. Anyone know anything?

Yeh he's 8 weeks old and and great fun i've had loads of dogs but nothing as affectionate and funny as him.
