  3. Could do a burglary with no gloves on, as I have no finger prints left.
  4. Si, where will I get either of these from. cheers Paul
  5. Not perfect, but much better than they were, all done by hand apart from sanding down the welding that I did and the final polish, from 240 to 1200 and all grades in between wet & dry, finished off with autosol on a polishing pad.
  6. Had some time off this week so I have been refurbing my front rims, this is the first one just needs bolting back together, should Finish the other one tomorrow. Paul
  7. The cam belt broke and trashed the engine so Mental is breaking it cause he can't afford to fix it.
  8. Si, I'll take a picture and post it up tomorrow, if know one beats me to it Paul
  9. Change the transmission oil first before you do anything else, drop the oil, i think only 4 or 5 liters will drain out, top it back up and run it around the block, do the same again drop the oil and top it back up. If you are handy with spanners you could drop the oil pan off and flush the stainer. Hopefully this will help but don't thrash it to much and it might last a lot longer. Paul
  10. Hi Mark, sorry to here this news.
  11. Let me have your wheels for a week and I'll get my wife to do it for free, she's getting quite good at removing paint from wheels, any curb will do.:wack:

  15. You need to look up: 'Z tried to kill me' before you drive your car again some people have had their throttle stick at high speed. Paul
  16. No problem Dave, I liked the way the thread went, I'm not a die hard fan of 99 spec Z's but as my car has a few 99 spec parts I thought I would ask the question. Yes it was me that you spoke to about the spoiler, thanks for the write up about fitting it. Paul
  17. Just like to say thanks to all who have contributed to this thread with comments a suggestions, I will try and get it as close as I can to 99 spec but not going to break the bank trying, the front bumper is having some damage repaired and a respray, inter cooler ducts will be sorted before it's fitted, the wheels are off the car getting refurbished (by me), but I have some other things I want to try before I go totally 99 spec. cheers Paul
  18. Si, I think it's only the front headlights that I'm missing and I don't see me paying the money for them, can you think of any other changes to the exterior on a 99 spec Z.
