if the car is at very low speeds like rolling a bit and i press down on the brakes i can hear it, was just wondering, other cars ive driven dont do this

recently had new pads, calipers and discs, and they work perfectly, stop fine no noises however if im stationary and press the brake pedal hard i hear a sort of strain noise like a click from both front brakes, only happens when i put a fair bit of force down, just wondering if this was normal or not

what do these gears do on auto, if using them it seems to be faster i.e 1st, 2nd, then d does this act like a 1st 2nd then d bein 3rd 4th 5th?

ye i think it is steam, it does smell of burning, but i hear a sizzle, its like pouring cold water on a hot pan ill get it checked out tomorrow, is it something serious? the engine was recently rebuilt and doesnt appear to be overheating, temp gauges etc are normal and the engine wasnt that hot to touch

was driving today and noticed steam appearing from the bonnet i had driven the car quite hard for a few miles but nothing ott its a auto tt jap import the engine temp is normal but quite a fair bit of brownish fluid was leaking out, i turned the igniton off and left it for 10mins, started it up and drove and it was fine the smoke is coming from the area circled i do have a power steering leak at full lock but that is a red substance today light brown stuff was leaking durin the smoke

so many good/decent example selling for well less than 3k on ebay and here, its a real shame as they are a future classic the market seems to be very strange as the prices range from 2k to 6k in autotrader where some of the cheaper one are just as good as the dearer ones

i have only painted the back seats, the front seats have new covers on it

just clean the seats, damp cloth give it a good whipe, let it dry then get a paint brush (a good one u dont want bits of brush on ure seats) then apply it, side to side strokes, i.e same action across the seats at first it doesnt look perfect as u tend to see the strokes but once it dries the strokes signs go away and ure left with perfect lookin seats

ebay sell it just search for leather dye only a fiver its waterproof, ive had wet ackets etc and no signs on running, takes a few hrs to dry once applied

well its probably common knowledge my leather seats in the zed was in awful nic, colour faded etc, bought a 5quid bottle of black leather dye and painted the dye on, it now looks like new, cant believe how well it looks, ill take some pics tomorrow so easy to do and dries within a few hrs

i cant pm or post in the item wanted section yet if you are breaking your car (stunned and worrying no1 is buying it for that cheap price) i would be interested in your power steering pipe and can pay thro paypal

i am currently looking for both front door cards a power steering pipe back leather seats

the hose was taking off and taken to a place (not sure where) but it leaked a few days later if anyone is selling one/breakin a 300zx let me know thanks

i am loosing a fair bit of powersteering fluid on full lock, ive been told that i need a power steering pipe (from fluid to the rack) its a 1992 jap import 300zx tt has anyone got one they could sell to me as it would really help thanks

my car is already chipped, boost valves, new engine (not rebuilt), front to rear exhaust, decatted, induction kit my mechanic mate says its between 400-450bhp the car is 300bhp standard (fairlady zx) ive been told on here that its unlikely to have that sort of horsepower but ive driven a 350bhp car and felt nothin like this and this is an auto

how much more bhp does chipping a nissan 300zx ive heard its the highest car u can chip with up to 80bhp any sites which give you a list of all the cars that can be chipped etc and the gains

any idea where i can get the bhp tested, i am in glasgow ive driven a 350bhp car and it doesnt feel anywhere near as fast as this. their are one or two other mods to the car which i couldnt remember what price do u think is realistic if and when i decide to sell it, i can realistically afford this car for 1 year, (im only 19 and insurance quotes are :mac1: )

recently bought a 300zx, at first only bought it to sell it on but after a few miles in it, i fell in love with it a few quick questions 1). i am lookin for leather back seats (ideally orange and black ones, but any will do) for the 300zx, but cant find any on ebay etc 2). i have decided to keep the car for a year or so was also wondering how much do they sell for, i bought mines for 3k from a friend who is a mechanic its a J reg 3 litre 24v v6 twin turbo (between 420-450bhp) engine rebuilt chipped boost valve twin 4 inch front to rear exhaust de-catted induction kit leather seats at the front new brakes all round full body respray full bodykit (dont know the name of it) new 17" 275/40/17 back 235/40/17 at front 101km (65k miles or so) here are the pics, any idea what that bodykit is called, thanks
