I end up hoarding car parts with the intention of sticking them on ebay and then after months of the wife nagging me about what i'm going to do with them i end up binning them or giving them away lol.

You'll get at least £20 plus the postage for, i got £25 for one i sold earlier in the year.

Stick it on ebay, you'll get a few beer vouchers:D

If you open the control panel then power options you can change the battery settings but i always left mine as the factory settings as i thought this was best but who knows?

I have been leaving the battery out, i just installed it until it was fully charged then removed it but i did notice that when i installed it the other week so i could move the laptop into the bedroom where my printer is it had dropped down to 94% so this could be the cause of the first battery failing as in my battery setup its set to re-charge when the battery falls below 95%, so the battery could be discharging every now and then and re-charging without me realising causing the cells to fail a bit like mobile phones where they tell you only to re-charge when the battery is nearly fully discharged to prolong the life.

I also had problems with the laptop getting hot and they said leaving the battery in while powered from the mains also caused this, i ended up buying one of those fan bases you posted about a few months ago and what a difference its made.

My laptop battery didn't last a year from new and i very rarely used it, when i asked IBM support about it they said you shouldn't leave the battery installed when running off the mains, this made no sense as i said what would happen in a power cut but they said you should save your work every few minutes.....idiots! I bought a higher spec battery on ebay for about £40, its not an origional IBM but its made by Sanyo so should be just as good i hope.

I bought an engine from my mate (john300zx) in February for £150, its been sat on the pallet and tightly covered with a tarp since as i no longer have the car. It was running when removed from the breaker John had and done about 90,000 miles, you can have it for the same price i paid. The pic is the one John sent me when i bought it.

We always end up with about 30-40 packs of crisps no-one eats every month always flamin hot monster munch, chilli dorito's and nice and spicey nik-naks, we always stick them in a carrier bag and give them to my mate who eats anything lol.

My wife buys them every week (variety pack) and no-one eats the flaming hot, i wasn't aware they had ever changed size though. Love the beef ones.

I just tried with yahoo and it said i have exceeded the 10Mb limit, so i am trying it with my virgin media (blueyonder) email as that allows 20Mb but i have been having problems with virgin all day, even lost all my tv channels. I'll try splitiing the file with winrar although i don't really know what i'm doing lol.
