lollllllllll.. sum of the replies made me laugh... definitely the gimp mask.. but unfortunately i dont have one! lol... we dont really get sales people just beggars asking for donations... and it is annoying as hell... i might just kick one of them in the head. or buy a big dog like stellaz. lol

this is time for me to moan rant and bloody rave!!! I HATE these door to door beggars! They come more or less EVERY single day and more than once. Every single day I have to tell them 'sorry I dont not wish to donate to your charity/mosque/cause' To be honest, I do not mind genuine causes and I have previously given to and I still have standing orders (for £1/2 only) to causes I personally feel that are worth of donation. But I really really do hate the increase I am noticing in my area knocking and asking money for their mosques. I have so many times said no. I have also told them I do not wish to donate to there cause. Some of them don't speak English and assume I speak Urdu and when I don't get pissed off themselves. I want a sign saying 'DO NOT BEG' or 'F**K OFF' But I never found it on Ebay, I might get some stickers made myself, in Eng and Urdu and anything other language applicable!!! They spoke so rudely to my sister yesterday that today I waited for them to come so I could have a word! Well I will wait again tomoro and show them what i think off them constantly knocking on my door. Rant over :mad:

i ain't a genius at this kinda stuff so i dunno if the modem i bought is naff or i need to do something? i have tried googling but just havent got anywhere. basically, i have broadband with NTL. I have a motorolyy ta surfboard modem which they provided me with which is used on my PC downstairs. That works fine (most of the time lol) if i take this upstairs to my room, it works fine on my laptop. coz i do have a NTL connection in my bedroom (as i have a cable box there) so I thought I would by one from ebay and use in my bedroom just so I can have internet on me lappy too.. But the problem is the NEW motorola modem (same) doesnt work up or downstairs but the old one works on both. so do u think its a fault with the new modem?? is there a way to fix this? Yeah, i have considered wireless I got this pretty cheap on ebay and thought I would give it a shot. ANY ideas welcome
