Alan, get a bucket! It will be her first car and an estate, will be hard to park for a new driver. It will get more bangs than my bird. Spend the spare cash on pet insureance for the wee man.

We all know what happens to first cars so I would look for a car I could get replacement parts for cheap and easy (bumpers, grills and head-lights:x: o & wing-mirrors).:) Would also look at old pug mate.

How about an old mk3 golf estate? Would cost less than £1500 and is easy to get parts for and should be realiable bud.

Can anybody help. I have just got a HKS EVC-6 but the fitting guide is in jap. I need to get it fitted ASAP as the car is going in to get remaped on Friday and I still have to fit an uprated fuel pump aswell. The other problem is that it is not for a 300zx as I sold it, it's for an evo6rs. But mybe someone can help. Cheers Steve Copland

Had them on my Williams 3:bow:. You should also speak to your local dealer for Toyo as there are different componds of them, they should be able to tell you what is best for you and you may get more miles out of the correct choice.

It chokes the air flow, hence why you block most of the inlet with the butterfly.

Choke is on when the butterfly is closed bud.

If you PM me your reg number mate I will find out for you. I have a link on the MLR that tells you. I tried details for a w-reg evo6 import and the tax was going up to £400ish, then tried it on an 02 plate evo6rs offical rallyart import and it is only £200ish. So guess what evo I went for.

Forgot to say, it may just be the paint that you have used mate.

Think you should try sikoflex, it's for sealing up the sides of trailers, lorrys and caravans. May be wrong but that's what I would do it with. Think it may also be the same stuff that seals the rear lights in. I managed to seal the outer sun-roof trim on my williams with it and have never even had a drip of water since. I got it from Ding-Bro, If am wrong am sure someone will soon say tho.

I get paid well tho mate. I have to sell a car to do the mods, but with the market being the way it is it may take a while so think I will take a loan till it's sold. Is there more or less chance of getting, never had a loan before.

What does all this mean? Am going to call the bank soon to see about getting a loan to uprate my evo (don't want to wait), is there more or less chance of me getting it?
