  1. Soooooo get them up
  2. Straightforward and wiring does not compute with me, the closest av got to an engine/management conversion was my lasses e36 beemer, literally unplugged the wiring loom from a connector on the inner wing, plugged the new one in, snipped and joined the immobiliser wires under the dash and vroom!
  3. Good vid, always wanted to find somebody with the skills to knock something like that up for me
  4. Nice, wish ad took a camera now
  5. just been having a flick through my emails and found this from a while ago, gets me in stitches everytime  sorry if its a repost http://www.forthvalleysystems.com/piecharts.pdf
  6. hmmm so running maf-less means you could get rid of all the pipe work before the turbos and get to hear the turbo's spool up instead of it being muffled? how much for a fully fitted and mapped kit?
  7. No problem, a wouldnt normally advise something like that but its simple and effective, whereabouts are you in tyne and wear? There is a way of checking the ecu for codes without needing diagnostic equipment but a cant remember how, something to do with a flashing light on the ecu am sure somebody will post it up
  8. Ahh reminds me of my first zed with that rear end, except mine was a single panel with 2 lights at either end, still looks very similar
  9. Yea i was starving lol
  10. Brett didnt u get some pix?
  11. Think av seen that before nd yea its a joke
  12. Was good to meet everyone, i was tempted to open it up a bit so people could hear why i prefer the noise of a single exit lol but i didnt know that back road at all so didnt chance it, those m3's that sped off one of them sounded terrible, horrible raspy noise, the others sounded ok and that m5 sounded awesome
  13. Owls?.... Lol no bother mate a got the wrong end of the stick, thought you were being arsey, my bad
  14. Am up for this but have to be back by 2.30 to pick my lass up from work but at least a can show me face for a couple of hours, nice to make the effort to make up numbers, anybody meeting up from the north and heading down can you text me details of anywhere your meeting up for a convoy down preferrably with a post code, got a free seat too if anybody wants a lift, 07403249160-Liam, if i dont hear anything from anyone al just see everybody down there
  15. welcome mate, go easy till you get used to the car or you might end up like i did... soggy rear shockers and excessive speed almost killed me, only still here because i refused to wear the seatbelt with it being on the door lol never put me off them though
  16. Light hearted banter mate wind your neck in
  17. Seriously bad luck mate, hope you get sorted though
  18. Good project mate, cant see why you couldnt hit 200mph with a longer final drive, my car isnt massivly powerfull and its been upto an indicated 180mph (which am sure somebody on here worked out was a genuine 175.something) so not that far to go really and like already said there are a fair few skylines out there that will do it and they look as aerodynamic as a brick compared to the z32
  19. I'm in the stages of getting a better job and if i got it i was going to save and import an engine from z1, this has really put me off now so will more than likely have an engine built here, might even give it a shot myself, i used to build the engines for my rs turbos which made just as good results as paying somebody plus i had the satisfaction i had built it myself, hmmmm think that may be the way forward.
  20. Just undo the bolts that hold the coilpack down, pull the coilpack up with the connector on and get a cable tie under the coilpack and over the connector, just be carefull not to crush any wires as it will damage them, this is all I've done and its been fine, bit of a pikey fix but saves a few quid
  21. Is it not just flat out at 70? Lol
  22. Mines the same av just wrapped a cable tie round it and its been fine
