Been offered a very very nice set of 19" alloys and tyres for an unmissable price. Only problem is the wheels are 9.5 x 19" all round. So basically will 9.5 fit on the front or am i being stupid. thanks

yeah, but i would like to try and find out a rough price for giving the engine a decent seeing to. sometimes it runs shit boost even with code 55.... just want to give it a good service and tune up

Going to get my engine overhauled in the next few weeks. Planning on having all belts pumps etc changed, plus whatever needs doing to get it safely running a little extra power. At present it is a standard TT jap import. Somedays it runs sweet with perfect boost, other days it runs in safety boost??? Ecu will show 34 on some days and then 55 on other days without resetting it?? Basically can someone advise me of the best people around to intrust with a Z? not really looking for 400+bhp just a nice safe increase and a reliable engine. Cheers

is it just me or does anyone else think that spending 20-30-40k??? is a little obscene?? for that sort of money your looking at a 996/911 carrera 4s which will anhilate any zed in looks speed performance top end and reliability.... Obviously thats just my opinion but given the choice of having a porsche or a nissan i would definately opt for the porsche.

isnt it always a possibility that the code 34 relates to actual detonation as opposed to just the det sensor failing?? Best results from reading through these forums is what was mentioned earlier. Try and borrow cas/ptu/maf from someone else so that you can eliminate which one of them is going wrong.

can get kuhmo tyres for £300 delivered 235's and 265's. they might be a ""budget"" tyre but they are almost half the price

they will fit but you will need to roll arches and depending on your suspension set up you may need spacers. Although i seriously would not advise getting 20's. Will ruin handling, ride, acceleration and it will put your speedo out. stick to 18's or maybe 19's

well the zed fun seems to have started for me. Cant really complain because i guess i got good news. Took the car to my garage tonight with the intention of sorting my ecu error code of 34 out. Turned ecu into diagnostic mode just to check it was a code 34 and it was showing 55. So i took it out for a quick thrash and then tried the ecu again after a hard drive and still code 55?? i thought the ecu would need resetting before it would go back to a code 55 from a code 34?? Guess its not bad news though as 55 means all good....

Im sure i saw this car for sale one ebay the other day. very very nice looking car by the way. but if you have just bought it from a garage then surely you have some sort of warranty?? i would tell them that your seriously pi$$ed and that you would like them to sort it out. Because as you said, if the wheel had broken when you were doing 80+ (on a private road ofcourse) you could have been seriously hurt and they would probably have been liable

am i not right in thinking that this car was purchased from zedcentre?? or at least that those pics are taken outside of zcentre?? (please correct me if im wrong) And didnt you pay quite a bit of money for this car? If i were you i would get intouch with whoever sold it to you, and either ask where the wheels were from or ask for some money back....
