  3. nope its fine, personally i think its the relay for the immobiliser because the clicking is that destinct noise of a broken one, but i cant do a diagnostics test because the bloody thing wont listen to me! Its too late to bugger with it now though, and i need the car working fine for monday! again... I GIVE UP!
  4. air fuel usually comes with its own sender but if you can wire splice it onto an o2sensor and the jobs a goodun cool
  5. I got my Ecu back from andy p today, cleaned up the engine temp sender and relocated some wires and my engine check light is now gone and the fan is off, FINALLY! I took it for a spin and all was a bit spluttery untill it all got worked back into shape. I did an oil change and all was well. Took it for a 20min drive and all was perfect! Went inside for a couple of hours and ha hoe, go back to my car to nip to tesco and guess what... Try to start her up and the alarm starts going hay-wire, immobilises the car and starts making clicky noises! Ive replaced the battery and retuned it and its still going all haywire, I GIVE UP! its a laserline 290i2/291 (with the fob) any advise?
  6. How much with an oil cooler, just changed mine and my dippy is poop too
  7. yes its the clear light diffuser from strip lights or the big square one they put in on tiled office ceilings, I did this on my last zed, used a hairdryer to heat them up and wd40 to remove any mess when i finished. extreamly easy mod, ignore the write ups about using an over. A conventional hairdryer or heat gun will do the trick but beware your fingers will burn if you use that hairdryer to long My girlfriends kept cutting out because it was getting to hot, was really annoying. But when you unbolt them from the car, beware that they are held on with the same glue so you need to add heat to remove them and heat to put them back on.
  8. i once had an exhaust cat-back done on a vectra at longlife in leeds and it had CNC bent twists, I was not inpressed!
