  1. I would rather buy the aussie ones as in my experience you rarely pay import tax, from the US you get shafted everytime.

  9. my guess too but i need somebody to confirm, the fluid looks full in the master cylinder but there is what can only be described as a light coating of sticky dirt all over the engine bay. Not excessive but not normal either.

  11. Hello, my car started being wierd this morning, i turned it on to go to work and the clutch biting point is now really close to the floor (was perfect last night) and the gearstick has become very very stiff to move. any ideas? The gearstick was a lot looser on the way home but still pretty solid, the clutch was still on the floor

  14. Regent square car park, series 2 i think.
  15. i have used redstuff before and found they had seriusly low brake dust, i had white wheels at the time and they were never dirty. The stopping power was good and progressive but they have been known to crack old discs so should be cautious if not upgrading. They do have poor cold stopping which can be a pain in the morning but they never squeel
  16. i know exactly what you mean as i too have had my car starting the same before now, cant think of what was causing it tho
  17. no, the hoses are fine. If you want the whooshing noise though mate, replace the hoses with standard hoses and fit different dump valves in the original location. There are some really loud ones on ebay for £50 See thread : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=123283
  18. That car was a rediculas bargain, Amazing power output and a scary beast of a car for the new owner.

  20. isn't that an aerotop supra? Am i missing the joke?
  21. Could do with a switch like that on my lady
  22. check the 'engine temp sensor'. It will give you a major headache starting the car if its getting a bad connection. Its located on at the front of the car on the water pipes infront of the fan. (yellow connector) Unplug the wires and clean the connections with electrical contact cleaner and a small brush. The contacts sometimes pop of the connectors inside the yellow plug so you may need to push the back down with a small screwdriver. The easiest way to check if its acting up is to listen for the auxillery fan working, its in front of the radiator and you can see it through the recess in the front bumper. its very loud and whine's down when you swich off the car if its running
  23. do the revs drop slightly when you press the pedal?
