Slippy in the wet
Yep, if it still has Jap rubber you want to change that asap. They will be of a very hard compound and just a nightmare in the wet.

Bonnet lining and battery
MATTY - no hidden fixings, just loads of popper type things all around the edge. JAY - its no prblem driving in the rain, its when you park up that it will run into the vents.....luckily I have something to put over them! But to be honest, I try not to drive it in the rain these days! As for washing it, I have to be careful with the hose pipe across the bonnet!

Don't know how to make the wheels and swing arm black but I have managed to track down a radio control for it. Let me know if you want one.

Pic of old coilpack connector
One sunny lunchtime last week I decided to get the soldering iron out and start replacing my coilpack connectors. Took a pic of how fooked my old one's were! Check it out against the nice new one! They weren't all as bad as that one but not far off! Did my injector connectors last year and have attached a pic of an old one of those too. See the corrosion and oxidisation! I would reccomend this mod to anyone! Seeing as one supplies spark and the other fuel - just the 2 most important factors! Only had 45 mins and did a careful 2, the other 4 next time the sun is out. John - if you are reading this mate, do you still need a coilpack connector? I have one in very good nick, only one though!

Bonnet lining and battery
I took mine off when I had the vents pressed in. It seemed like the engine was wrapped in a duvet - as if it doesn't get hot enough as it is!

Last Night At The Ace Cafe
Nah, with an auto you can put it in 1st gear, plant your left foot on the brake and then start to accelerate! After a few seconds the rear wheels will brake free and start to spin but still hold the front! I don't do it very often but must admit, I like the smoke!
