  1. That would be great Mark. I'll give you a shout and see how you're fixed.
  2. Keep a close eye out then for the next few days - could well be coming back for a proper go.

PAH! Doesn't beat my garage...........the one where if you don't park over to the left enough, you have to climb out of the window!!
  4. Judging by the Icelandic (is that a word?) chicks, I wouldn't worry about being spanked while you're there......in fact, I'd look forward to it :hyper:
  5. Cheers Stu. Yeah, that would look nice. I'd never do it for real though so have never psp'd it..........til later on this evening that is. ;)
  6. Thats very kind of you Mark, but can't really drive it. I'm sure all will be revealed when I properly look at it.
  7. Limped the Z home the other night and will have to wait til the weekend to have a proper look. Alot of steam coming from bottom left-ish of rad area. Puddle of coolant under the car. Temp needle on dash as normal. Left hand end tank of rad was very hot and right hand side barely warm, rad cap not hot at all. Had my rad re-cored last year so would be surprised if it was that. So air lock? water pump? Any pointers would be great. As I say haven't got around to looking properly so it might be obvious when I do......no harm in a few idea's or suggestions though! Thanks as always.
  8. PMSL.......come on James, read the post properly!
  9. Happy Birthday mate. How old are you?
  10. Well done Shrimpy..............just make sure all this doesn't go to your head...
  11. Thanks guys. Esp to Guinnal - you are a star mate!
  12. Yeah, they aren't too bad as it goes. Just so happens that that one is particularly awful looking with those gold wheels!
  13. Look what's turned up across the road! Lucky my Z is in the garage most of the time and not being contaminated by being so close to that thing!
  14. LOL, ok, don't forget them! Let us know how much, I fancy a laugh! Already colour coded sounds like a bad idea to me. Our cars are old now, the paint is old - pr may have had new paint. I wouldn't trust it perfectly matching!!!
  15. Forget Nissan mate, it will be £millions from them!
  16. Thanks guys and cheers Chris. Will catch up one evening this week hopefully then.
  17. Just a quick one to warn other people. I have learnt the hard way. A while ago, I found a guy on ebay doing a good deal on KYB shocks. I posted up if anyone else wanted any and a few guys did. I went to the guy with the amount I wanted and he gave a discount over the single priced item on ebay. Now, ebay is set up for buying one item at a time, so when I needed more than one the seller gave me his Paypal address and I sent the money. This was still via his ebay shop. Obviously buying multiples through "buy it now" (1 at a time) wouldn't of taken into account the discount he was giving me for buying a few sets. That was back at the start of August and it seems quite clear by now that this guy has ripped me off. No reply to emails, no goods, nothing. So I go to Paypal first and get no joy as the transaction date is over 30 days old. I argue that as they were coming from the States that 30 days isn't long enough to realise you've been conned. The reply was to log a complaint on the 29th day and then cancel it if the goods do arrive, ...wtf? Next onto ebay. No joy there either. The transaction "strictly speaking" wasn't through ebay and they have no responsibilty. And to cap it off, I have no way of leaving negative feedback. The "ebay" shop, in case you were wondering is "Power Garage". So def steer clear if you come across it. I have sent an email to ebay asking for contact details, explaining the circumstances as to why they are being asked. So see how I go there. This bloke is well overdue for a slap and what I wouldn't do to find his address. My bank, HSBC are on the case now as I used their credit card. So just a warning about the small print if something does go wrong.
  18. I think what this comes down to is whether you are paying someone to fit your springs or doing it yourself. I mean, it will cost you no extra to have the new shocks fitted at the same time as the springs but of course if you decide after to add new shocks then it is just repeating the process again. Scott, I have the same AVO's on standard shocks, put new rears in at the time as they were very cheap (Jap) but didn't have the money for fronts. I thought the ride was still very good. My fronts are now fooked and want to replace front AND rear, so in answer to your question (in a long drawn out way!) I would fit new shocks at the same time if you can afford it. .......if only we had new shocks to fit!
  19. As I've said recently, we all know the oil pressure gauges are prone for mis-readings due to the sender clogging up. But I was wondering what the reason for a healthy reading on start up and then gradually dropping to more or less 0 would be. My pea brain can't work it out. Thanks.
  20. C 300R no big deal, but I like it.
  21. I'm looking to shave the mount off of my 99 spec front, I hate the way it sticks out so much!
  22. Do you know the one I mean? Its all fur and gold........ Thanks in advance.
