From the pic it is neither of the 2 that slide onto their own little mount....it is to the left of that (looking from front) but as you say is similar to coilpack connectors.
  2. Gonna bail out here........I would say drive it but keep a VERY close eye on temp gauge! and as Andy says have more water with you. Head gasket??? don't scare the poor guy! (it is/was def coolant?) have you got that far?

Go for it...... twopipes300@hotmail.com There a couple of connectors at the back there that control the revs while air-con is on, well something very similar to that!
  7. Whats your coolant level? have you checked it?
  8. Well I hope its encouraged you to post more often!
  9. Off the road for a while then, I won't look out for it for a bit when I'm next up at the Snowdome! (I will in a month or so.......for a Z running so smooth I won't belive my eyes!) Good luck.
  10. I think the Z suffers more than most from a flatish battery, throws all sorts of stuff out. I know mine did! Thought the starter motor was on its way out ........for a while! duh, just solenoid clicking etc.
  11. Had my engine blow after a few months of buying the Z, two and a half grand later for new lump and 2 years later, I still don't regret buying it for a minute. Had a E36 BMW before and people say "bet you wish you kept with the beemer?" No, the BM was boring, the Z is fookin fantastic.
  12. Allthough its very entertaining-we don't really want this on here. It kinda gives a bad feeling about the place. Ignore Nelson........ maybe then he'll go away.
  13. Sh1t man, sorry to hear your bad news bud. Time to flex that credit card up.
  14. A woman hears her husband cussing up a storm from behind the bathroom door. She knocks and says, "Honey, what is it?" Her husband emerges from the bathroom and says, "The doctor prescribed suppositories for this stomach problem I've been having, and no matter what I do, I just can't get the little sucker up my ass. Even the doctor had to shove the first one in to show me how it was done -- and I tell you, it took forever for him to get it up there... and it *hurt*!" "Poor baby," says the wife. "You were probably nervous and tense, and he probably wasn't very gentle with you. Here, let me give you the suppository -- I don't mind." Still grumbling, the husband bends over. His wife puts her left hand on his left shoulder to brace him, and, with her right hand, quickly and easily slips the pill up her husband's rear end. The husband suddenly lets out a bloodcurdling scream. "My God!" says the wife. "What happened? Did I hurt you?" "No!" cries the man. "But I just realized that when the doctor did it, he had *both* hands on my shoulders!"
  15. Can you identify if its left or right?
  16. Not much.......once it has been torched.
  17. (Stu) Your little smiley man has lost 4th gear. Ah, the grin factor..you can't beat it. :D :D :D :D
  18. Jeff TT's is this colour I believe.
  19. Sorry.........just read that as - "scary leak coming from my arse" .........you can get tablets for that........to firm things up a bit. Hope its a perished hose or a clip come off altogether. There was a lengthy post the other day on this.....I reckon a search on "steam" will bring it up.....good luck.
  20. All Z's are fkin rad. Even SMW1 's pink Z looks good in a certain light. Auto, manual, a fookin pedal-Powered Z. I love 'em all.
  21. Oh yes.............what a car. LOL.
  22. My biggest "smile" factor at the mo in my auto is on the motorway, say around 80ish, with overdrive off, it pulls more than Justin Timberlake. As JAZ says-check your connectors maybe and run ecu diag.
  23. Gotta agree with Stu there......they are pretty rapid! I would never buy one-but they sound nice!!
  24. There is a pic of one on the Zcentre site isn't there? Have you seen that? I'm sure a few of the guys will post with their own pics.
  25. Blimey, from 80 upwards I would say thats where the Z's come into their own. I know mine feels strong from 60 onwards where other cars have lost their puff. I am running similar mods to you, well excactly the same as it happens, maybe a tad higher PSI. So not sure whats up........could be a thousand reasons I suppose...sorry, thats not much help is it? (The Cavalier bit made me laugh!)
