    "Consider" getting it sprayed ???????????
  3. If you're having another go and fancy a hand, I'm not far from you and could pop over for another pair of hands.
  4. Oh dear, not a very successful day then? Taking it to a garage is the last option man, no-one will look after your Z like you will. So you didn't have the allen key..........but apart from that, think of the satisfaction of doing it yourself......and next time will be a doddle. A little saying I like alot and can apply to so many things- "Nothing truly worthwhile comes without sacrifice".
  5. On that last pic you can see the rear with no wiper. I like it without and think it really tidies up the back end.
  6. Just to add that matrix bypass is courtesy of SE, not my handy work! Its crude but it works till I get my new matrix in! What am I defending SE for? It looks fookin awful!
  7. Me too with a Blitz from Luke at Z Centre, came next day I thinkand really pleased with it. :D
  8. But def try something like T-Cut first, you'll be surprised what you can get out with that!
  9. Big 'phat' thanx to Stu, SMW1 for coming down and spending most of the day helping me fix my poorly Z. We found out which cylinders were down and replaced the injector connectors. It was a bit fiddly but Stu's crimping skills came up trumps (must be from all that practise on his hair) and after a well deserved McD's my Z was back on 6 and pulling better than ever. Its still a mystery as to why they were failing but now its working again, I don't care. Thanx again mate.........but next time dont make me go sideways in front of the pesky pork chops when I'm showing you the way home.....tut tut, you are a bad influence. Cheers mate, I owe you one. :D
  10. Mac's Power?

Changes we would all have to do to fit a 99 front? or just something you wanted to do?
  12. james300 replied to a post in a topic in General Discussions - Non 300ZX
............and do you do this upgrade? or is it too time consuming? I should get off my lazy arse and do it myself I suppose cos it does look good.
  13. Bigger than jungle? A funny thing just happened then, made me laugh. Clicked on quote for above and didn't edit what I meant to........it ended up saying "got to drop car of at PPS - Thanks for meeting up with me, your thing is massive" ha ha ha, made me laugh anyway! I love that pic looking back at Mac's car.

...........and the next pic with it attached to your car? Spoilsport.

Hiya Jeff........blurring out the plate on the 2nd attachment was a little too late! Are you doing this as an upgrade now? It looks really nice, as does that 99 front with the mesh! :D
  16. I'm really wondering now why some have the screw and some the solid block.............who can we ask? Maybe on the last stage of the assembly line, Mr Mechanic takes it round the block........comes back and says "that one is pretty rapid/slow, don't/do need the screw on that one" ha ha.....that was a joke.;)
  17. I've just hyperlinked it there. And have only just learnt how to do this, so if you're not sure, let me know! Cos I was struggling at first!
  18. Connectors to the coil packs are all fine. Cleaned and replaced a short while ago. But cheers..............its quiet on here today! I'm looking for a magic answer............that doesn't exist! Oh well, gonna grab something to eat and get back out there, see what else I can break.
  19. *that should be 4 and 6* Just a follow up really to my other post about me snapping off a wire to one of my injectors. Have got this sorted but strangely enough am now missing on cylinders 5 and 6! (from front, r/h/s, top 2) WTF have I done to cause that? Plugs are only a few months old, from Courtesy and those injector connector's seem fine. I suppose I now need to determine if its lack of spark or fuel? Is there a test I can do for the injectors? I have a multimeter. Its just thrown me that 2 cylinders are down for no apparent reason! but then nothing on a Z happens for a reason so I should be used to that by now. I haven't touched that side of the engine at all! I get upset when my Z's not working! :( Cheers,
  20. OOOHHHHH, J D and coke..........oh sjhit :p 2 many tonigjht
  21. $94.00 from Strano.......but not sure about shipping? I reckon it might end up more than.............must...........say...........it...........SE...........AAH, did it.
  22. Half price in the states, not sure how much the shipping would work out though, being as their pretty heavy. Spoke to Peter at SE last week and he said he didn't have any in stock, I was phoning for a price. "I'll get straight back to you he said"...........answers on a postcard as to whether he did or not. But as Smithy said, excellent choice.
  23. Nice, real nice. 99 front looks better everytime I see it.
  24. I was just putting my throttle cover back on after looking if I had that adjustable screw or not and noticed an injector connector that was looking a little dirty. I'll take that off and give a quick clean, I thought. So a wiggle later and the wire has snapped clean off........bollox. No Z for me tonight. Eric.......this is all your fault and I'm holding you personally responsible. LoL......well, just about lauging.
  25. A young woman in London was so depressed that she decided to end her life by throwing herself into the Thames. She went down to the docks and was about to leap into the freezing water when a handsome young sailor saw her tottering on the edge of the pier, crying. He took pity on her and said, "Look, you have so much to live for. I'm off to America in the morning, and if you like, I can stow you away on my ship. I'll take good care of you and bring you food every day." Moving closer, he slipped his arm round her shoulder and added, "I'll keep you happy, and you'll keep me happy." The girl nodded yes. After all, what did she have to lose? Perhaps a fresh start in America would give her life new meaning. That night, the sailor brought her aboard and hid her in a lifeboat. From then on, every night he brought her three sandwiches and a piece of fruit, and they made passionate love until dawn. Two weeks later, during a routine inspection, she was discovered by the captain. "What are you doing here?" the captain asked. "I have an arrangement with one of the sailors," she explained. "I get food and a trip to America, and he's screwing me." "He certainly is," the captain said. "This is the Woolwich Ferry."
