  1. Bigger pic......(LOL, I don't need any excuse to put up pics of my car!) Since the centre, I have done the vents on both doors-they look good too. I have stopped there though before I got carried away! Was going to to the window switches but thought it was too much.
  2. Cheers bud! I'm no sprayer, just took my time and was careful. Really pleased with it. :D
  3. Yeah.......paint your one! Here.
  4. Jesus man! Look at the size of that bugger!
  5. I can't remember. I have all my receipts at home so I'll check and post again.
  6. http://www.nomadracing.co.uk/ Got my A-pillar and gauges from them. The bloke there, forget his name now, is a good guy. Mention the forum and he'll look after you.
  7. As you are all aware I’m sure, I like a laugh and a joke but this is a serious thread, perhaps my only one. This weekend, Sunday 24th August to be precise is the 2nd anniversary (if you can call it that) of the death of a very dear friend of mine, Martin Dawson. He was killed in a car accident on the M11 when a lorry driver fell asleep at the wheel. The crash also claimed the lives of his 2 children Laura and Robert. They were the sweetest, kindest natured kids you could ever meet. Martin was just a guy I clicked with. We had the same stupid sense of humour and outlook to life. It was tragic that his and that of his children were cut so short. I miss him still, a lot. I just wanted his name on here, never got the chance to tell him about this great place and the new friends I have made. It’s a sad story, so sorry for that, I like to make people laugh if I can, not miserable! Have a great weekend everyone and drive carefully.
  8. LMFAO........I really like that one! :D :D :D
  9. Your avatar was pure class mate!
  10. Nick, I couldn't phone Mike just for some 0-rings! thats almost as embarrassing as Mike reversing into his 4x4. I'll nip down to my local car spares shop, they're about 25p down there! Cheers though.
  11. Gavo..........funny you should say that as a mate of mine said exactly the same about his Sierra Cosworth and was convinced my problem was a plug(s) going down. Going by the plugs section on this page http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/hesitate2.html mine may have suffered from dry fouling. Will look again at them in the morning cos they're at work and I'm at home now. Just got in from a spin and I'm happy! :D Might aswell put up for sale my AFM, TPS, and fuel pump!
  12. *************** we have fookin lift off ****************** Bought some plugs off of Mark (Topless) today and these have done the trick. Oh yes.......I am grinning my head off. And with all my new injector connectors, fuel pump, AFM etc, its going better than ever.

    .......am speechless ???
  14. Just had a good laugh......went to my local Nissan dealer. Needed one more plug cos just got 5 off of Topless. We all know plugs are expensive so wasn't that surprised at price of £14.10. It was when I asked for the tiny O-rings for the balance bar....(3 in total)........wait for it....... .......wait......... .........£18.80 they having a fookin laugh or what????? £6x2 and £4x1 +vat.
  15. I have "snugged" them up, up till now -just wanted to make doubly sure.
  16. I'm just after the plug torque settings? Cheers fellas. **and nice one Mark (Topless) for meeting me today**
  17. Consider your pain shared.......looks nasty! :(
  18. Or this one http://www.z32.org/html/fuelpumpcontrolunit.shtml dierctly on the control unit?
  19. You'd know all about "cheap fixes" eh Pete?? No, seriously, thanks for that. Andy - you've known of these going before? I will test the fuel pump today! Cheers bud. Do you mean do this test http://www.z32.org/html/fuelpumpdiagnostics.shtml and see if the voltage increases?
  20. Right, fitted new connectors on the injectors and that hasn't improved things. Still got the coilpacks to do-cos they are in a shit condition too. Then my attention will turn to plugs, fuel control unit and then to a boost leak as Scoops mentioned. Saying that, maybe boost leak check next as that will be free! Idles spot on so can rule out the IAA I think, and as a pointer for anyone reading, it only seems to misfire after 1st gear which seems odd, but I guess there's more load up through the gears. My hunch has now turned to the plugs!
  21. Found that one.......there was another knocking about, but cheers Dave. That one will do.
  22. Found the injector info - now just need the TPS, finish work at 5 and want to do it then.........ANYONE? Thanks.
  23. I have had a good look but can't find this. I know it should be 0.4 and 4.0 but was trying to find the 'how to' article?? Also the injector voltage one. Cheers guys.
  24. http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=16600-RR701&Category_Code= So I reckon $1000 is what you need!
