  1. That why I am getting these as my intake pipe crumbled yesterday while trying to remove it to clean the TBs
  2. well wil find out if these are decent or not as I decide what the hell can't be that hard to get a hose right.
  3. Not all blocks have liners, also fitting liners to blocks that don't normally have them can cause problems I have seen a CA slip a liner (non linered block) and it took the block when the engine went. I would look around and definitely talk to a few engine builders first, check if Darton make some as well as they are know to be the best. I have a set of 86mm Darton Sleves getting bored out to 92mm on my 200sx (darton approved this over bore as well)

HKS Hi-power (4.5" Exits) 2.75" pipework I think and I found a place in the states that will do it for around £500 delivered. will post the link tonight
  7. Royal I stay in Inverness.
  8. Andy I am not going to bother wasting my time with this it was pointless for you to post what you did as it had no benefit or worth to this thread, I simply wanted this thread to stay on track and answer the question and not get useless pointless answers as oil is a common question for people new to these cars. I also know why these people are ex-members and it was through there own choice.
  9. With attitudes like this it is no wonder this forum has a bad rep, which several ex-members have told me about. If I want a piss take answer I would have posted this in the non related area not the technical help section. Andy since I have had my car lees than a month, I think I am entitled to wait a while before joining especially to see how much help this forum is going to be. As for the comments about chiling out I suggest you guys actually meet me as I am the most chiled person in the world. I asked a question about two specific oils not a general what oil is best, to see if there was a stong opinion about them, over on different forums they tend to have a recomend oil thread after about 6 hours and 30ish views no had even replied, so I think a bump is alright. It is not that I can't be arse it is because I am extremely busy just now with reubilding my 200sx (500+bhp build) renovating a house and also working 10 hours a day, 6 days a week at the mo so maybe my free time is limited.
  10. Richard thank you for the reply, I will be using the car on track once a month so i will go with the 10w60. andyduff I think your reply is totaly pointless and is just out to cause an arguement. Mods I have my answer now so please close this thread as I know you don't wnat an arguement over oils again.
  11. relise I have said if it is a NA or TT, I own a TT if it makes a difference.
  12. I know the arguements about oil, but I am asking about 2 specific oils and would like to know which one is better suited to the zed. Millers XFS 5w50 Millers CFS 10w60
  13. Hi guys I am looking at using this or the XFS 5w50 which is best and why?
  14. hey steve nice zed you got. I'll see you at the oval as I am planning to learn to drift this beast in prep for the return of the sx this year.
  15. pah! bit of polish and it will be fine!
  16. Right only had the car a week and it is my first zed, 1991 Jap spec TT. The idel on the thing is rough as hell will not idle smooth when cold or warm and smells very rich. Will fault code the ECU tomorrow morning but what do I need to adjust / look at first? also the car is fast idling when warmed up when coasting (holding clucth in while moving) and also when you pull up to a set of lights / junction any ideas?

  21. I don't fecking believe this but had the car since saturday, The windscreen cracks on the way home no biggy insurance job, then today (3rd time I have driven it) I get a call while I am on a rig measuring up and some ******* has smashed in my rear quarter panel, at least they have left me there insurance details, but still don't need this hassle right now. tell you if one more thing goes wrong the car is going (before I end up piling money into it.
  22. TBH I beat quiet a few that day as it was only the 2 skyline that beat me in the class.
  23. Was a black one and yes I still have it and once I fininsh the engine it will be 500bhp, it was 300bhp on that day. it will be my drift car when finished.
