317bhp, 315ft torque
okay so this is just the standard ecu being safe with the fueling. Okay so I will get my new HKS exhaust fitted and then check the AFR and re-map if needed to take a boost increase

317bhp, 315ft torque
atr point my car was running way rich than 10 as it went off the scale that the RR records to, I don't like cars running excessively rich like this. If what you are say is correct then I will be looking at getting the car chipped and set up to run better

First Meet of 2007
Right I defo will not be there now as had the car RR today and the AFR 10.2 so till I get that sort it will be getting minimum milage put on it.

317bhp, 315ft torque
thats my opinion too, I want the car right first before fiddling with it.

317bhp, 315ft torque
Just had my car RR, will put the graph up in a bit but the most worrying thing is the AFR, now I believe the car is standard apart from an apexi induction kit and kakimoto cat back system. The AFR was 10.2 from 4000 rpm onwards  boost was a solid 9psi. What the hell could cause that fueling or is that safety overfueling. will be pulling the ecu tomorrow to see if it has been chipped, as the operator said the car seemed fine and just to up the boost to sort the overfueling. :slap:

PCV Removal
That should solve it as the check valves will stop stuff getting pushed into the inlet when on boost but this will also stop any unmetered air getting into the system. The catch tank should act as a seperator and only pass air back to the pcv, will do some testing over the weekend on this sytem and let you know.

PCV Removal
Right had a good look at this now and will re-do the diagram. made some school boy errors there but sorted it out in my head now.
-
PCV Removal
your right sorry did that wrong, are the pcv actually on the inlet manifolds then? if so ditch them block the hole and then just use the two feed off the block that I have shown as blocked to feed the catch can. Will work well then. going to go check my pals set up again and see where the pcv is on his car.

PCV Removal
right have done the diagram, have assumed that the pcvs are the in the same position on each side of the block, correct me if I am wrong. This is a development of a system we use on the CA18DET (uses a pcv as well) which allows air to be drawn in through a mini filter, the shit to be pushed out through the pcvs and collected in a catch can. As I say I think this right might need a little adjustment.

Cheap Silcone Induction hose
bar the one that didn't fit the rest fitted perfectly never checked the writing though.

PCV Removal
Sorry to bring this back up but i have an idea to this and will get a diagram up later today but it keeps the pcvs and still allows clean air into the block.

Splash gaurds for Induction kits
that was the original plan but I found that there was an HKS Mushroom fitted by the previous owner and the had ditched the air box. How much do the air boxes go for?

Splash gaurds for Induction kits
Anyone got any photos of these as I don't have one and have just fitted an apexi cone filter and was thinking it would be easy enough to make. Thanks in advance

Apexi Induction Kit = More Boost
I still can't believe how shit the hks one is though

Apexi Induction Kit = More Boost
Right just did some maintenance on the car, mainly oil changing and fluid changing. I also decide to replace the air filter with an apexi induction kit (had one sitting around from the 200sx). Was a simple job that took about 10 minutes, as there was an HKS Mushroom already fitted. Well after a road test I am now well impressed with the results as the sound is lush but best of all I am now getting more boost.

Cheap Silcone Induction hose
