End of April for the reduced entrance tickets @ £12.50 a head that includes the parade laps and parking in the Z/ZX area and not in the general car park Can't give a cut off date for the seperate track sessions @ £20 a session as they are on a first come first served basis. With all the other car clubs being there once they are sold out that is it :cry: Hope that helps

Loads of names say yes to the Z Parade over here but getting money of them makes me wonder whether the horse is dead but hey with 80 Z/ZX owners paid up to date (but not that many from here) I noticed a slight twitch in the animal Clock is running to get reduced tickets and separate track time

It should be noted that the ultimate organisation of this event is governed by the safety of all participants. It is emphasised that you will be participating in a parade not a race and, as such, the pace car control will be aiming to maintain speeds that participants will feel comfortable with. Bear in mind that there will be all facets of Z preparation represented - from bog standard 35 year old 240Zs through to race machinery that will be thoroughly at home on a track. The aim will not be to make anyone feel pressurised to maintain unrealistic speeds which are unrepresentative of their car's ability or their personal ability.

Hi Dave After my initial thoughts re why you could not have PMed me regarding the posting of the poll on reflection I would now like to thank you for posting it up With regards to concerns to safety I have just asked Fuggles If the parade laps and track time had been approved by the relevent parties and he informed me It had beeen signed of by Silverstone, The Motorsports Association UK and the relevant Health and Safty Department Part of the H/S is that the driver of the pace car is ARDS qualified and there will be an observer on board who will be in radio contact at all times with the track marshalls and the rear car in the parade Would ould also like to say that I have not voted in the poll (just edited this in)

One thing that has not been stated is that on the parade laps there will NOT be any overtaking under any circumstances and also ALL drivers must attend the drivers briefing and REGISTER that they have attended it otherwise they will not be allowed on the laps under any circumstances

Dave, no one is saying 140mph will be done on the parade laps and fuggles was using it as an example of what he would do on a trackday and trying to point out how safe the straight is I doubt very much that 100mph will be done on the pit straight as it is regulated by the pace car As you are also a Z Club member why not phone me on the number in the magazine tommorrow night or I will ring you on your number on your booking form tomorrow night and we can discuss rather than carry out a prolonged exchange of views on line

I have mailed Fuggles re reply and waiting on his responce I know for a fact that the parade laps are behind a a RAC MSA Pace Car with a driver and an observer on board.
