Nope, been off since thursday and im going mad :( I hate being bored and theres no meets on today even though its a great sunny targa`s off day and the missis is going into work. Youve got the decent end of the stick there as id prefer to be doing something constructive then moping around.

Stick some talc over all the fuel pipes in the engine bay, start it up and let it run for a bit and see if any of it takes any moisture in. Dont know about tapping noises as im not that tech minded but was told this was a good way to check for leaks allthough yours sounds a little heavier then just a pipe a bit loose :(

Are you sure its not leaking? Underneath the car? Might be worth doing the talc test in the engine bay and seeing if its leaking from inside. Sounds like a little more then over-fuelling.

Highways? Was quoted £1020 on renewel down from an amazing £1040 :rofl: on my Golf V5 so went to them and have just parted with £570 with platinum breakdown cover included :D I know its not a vert but well worth trying, also knock about £50 off the best price you have and hit them with that as I told highways when I called them that id been quoted £640 to be cheeky and it went very VERY well for me. Thats quite a jump from 2k to 4.5k mate!! Dont have any crap from them, get anything you can even if its only a polished bolt and so on to show them how much money youve spent on it.
