  1.
  2. I saw that too but thought I must be going mad. Car looks great though Barry!
  3. Note the ' ' marks ;) It was the annoyance of the Scots to the [incorrect] use of the Union Flag by English football fans that caused the English to remember that they had another flag. One of their own.
  4. I agree. The English are probably the worst at the 'National Pride' thing. That's not to say they are not proud of their country but they are pretty crap at thinking about it at any other time than a football game! BUT, you must remember that the 'Englishness' has been subdued because of the greater pride in the their 'Britishness' for a couple of centuries. It is only in the last decade that the English have rediscovered their own country. Previously they were always British. You can 'blame' the Scots for that one.;)
  5. I don't know about football players but I heard that Frank Bruno once had one.
  6. Surely you don't believe that! Many nations have consciously used sports of all kinds to instill a national pride! Football is merely the most popular one at present so gets the most publicity. The Italian Fascists used football to display their prowess and won two World Cups. The Nazis did the same with football and the Olympics! The Communists did the same with the Oympics! Even the Argentinian Junta did it with the World Cup!
  7. Fair point. Personally I don't believe in any religion of any kind, so that would include Saints. That doesn't stop me being proud of my country and it's history though! I don't hear these arguments when Scots or Welsh or Irish fly their flags (or put those little stickers on the back of their cars). That's a little hypocritical don't you think?
  8. I assume you are not a fool because you can put a coherent sentence together. My point was, you must be a fool if you think English football fans should believe in dragons simply because they fly the flag of St George!
  9. So, are you saying all English football fans must therefore believe in dragons?? You must be a fool!
  10. Have to admit I was a little confused by how to fit the caliper bracket too when I got it. Could Smithy include some instructions or a diagram with future orders? Might prevent someone else getting in to trouble next time.
  11. We started to fly the flag of St George because of Scottish 'tribalism'.
  12. Nearly all the 300's in the UK will have the variable cam timing as it wasn't dropped until 1996 when they had to comply with the new emmisions regulations and they introduced the OBDII system.
  13. It's certainly a FAT arse now anyway!
  14. Pete Shrimp is the club trader of grounding kits. groundingkits
  15. Chip Foose !
  16. You been Googling for 'Fisting' sites again Bunnyboy? :nono:
  17. Hmmm.....but if they use the Western (ie Gregorian) calander why are they 88 years behind? Our years are AD but aren't the Japenese Budhist, so they wouldn't use the AD years at all until Westerners 'converted' them, so why be 88 years behind? Very odd.
  18.
  19. Clip-clop clip-clop........sounds like a bloody horse is in the house all the time!!! Hate the stuff.
  20. Cheers Les. Glad to see their working ok mate. They look almost as good as mine, except for that funny little guage under the speedo. ;)
