  1. Yeah i agree they look better with blue glass, and i know must people wouldnt notice the difference but personally i would ( probably due to my job ) John
  2. Not when the rest of your glass is bronze it doesnt
  3. I work in the windscreen industry and all jap specs are bronze with possibly a blue top tint. If they are ordering a new one you must make sure you tell them that you want a genuine nissan glass as any other none genuine glass sourced from the uk will be blue. Also you want to make sure they order new windscreen trims at the same time cos its highly unlikely they will be saveable... John
  4. As per previous comments i doubt it is anything to do with the aiv pipes, after my decat they were left hanging down and the car still runs fine...
  5. I hope not. Theres a pretty good write up on one site about the full aiv removal, so when ive got time thats next on my list
  6. If you get stuck let me know, think ive got a spare one in pretty good nick hanging around John
  7. I havnt blocked mine either, seems to be running fine but is there any effect on not blocking them ?
  8. Gotta be worth more than that :(
  9. When your glass is scratched then its nigh on impossible to fix it without replacing the glass :(
  10. Most aftermarket exhausts are cat back systems, so if you wanted to get rid of your cats you would have to replace with decat pipes. Although i think that decats on an n/a would be quite loud
  11. Might not be the same type of connector, but have you tried connecting the drivers side plug into the passenger side switch ?
  12. Think its a H1 bulb
  13. Mine were a T**t to get out, in the end they came out using a blow torch to heat up the pipe, although it had to be glowing red before they budged !
  14. Yeah the manifold is held onto the turbo by 4 13mm bolts / studs. Also the heat shield gets in the way. Is it the nearside or offside which has sheared, cos if its nearside it seems easier to do by removing the battery and going from the top for the top bolts.
  15. Glass wont be much heavier than perspex, and perspex scratches easy so would not look good over time
  16. Hi, i have this rather annoying hissing noise from my clutch, i have searched on the forums and it seems to be the clutch actuator and i am planning on disconnecting it for the time . Whereabouts would i block the vacuum pipe ? Thanks John
  17. Think you may need insurance also ?
  18. Just took my old cats off, there are 4 bolts to your turbo and 3 bolts to the rest of your downpipe, i have just sheared 2 bolts off mine so i know :(
  19. It part of the Aiv system, which wont be needed after decatting. Im not sure if you can just leave the pipes there or not, i am completely removing my Aiv system when i decat mine this week :)
  20. Local motor factor near me does them for about £3 each :)
  21. :D lets hope not
  22. I work in the windscreen business and i think we have some conductive glue in the depot. I will check tommorow and let you know. John
  23. No problem, just let me know if he doesnt have it. Thanks John
  24. Well hope its just the bulbs Si
