  1. How bad has it been kerbed ?, might be repairable rather than trying to find a new wheel
  2. I have had the privelidge to own both. In my opinion the RX7 is a more focused sports car, it has the edge on speed and handling due to a virtually perfect 50/50 weight balance but its no daily driver ! Also with the rotary engine prepare to spend a bit of money when the engine goes bang ( Not if but when ! ) If you really have to buy one, then you really need to be looking at one which has proof of a recent engine rebuild, if you not you could be facing problems with one thats done anywhere over 40K miles Anyway i sold mine because i love my nissans, and wished i hadnt got rid of my first 300zx :( John
  3. Thanks Athene, i will try that tomm. john

  10. Looking good, and yes those door panels are a real pain to try and get the material looking neat in the gap. I found the inside rear quarter trims quite hard to, due to the shape of the panel !
  11. congratulations mate to you and the wife, little fellas got more hair than me !
  12. Hi, does anyone know the standard front and rear spring height for the 300zx. I have been given a pair, which i am told are lowering springs and lower the car by about 40mm, but i want to make sure they are not standard... Thanks John
  13. What you may also find is when you remove the main 4 nuts for the tailgate, the brackets are stuck in place with sealant. if they are, then carefully cut round it with a stanley knife to break the seal.
  14. Just in the process of finishing my retrimming and the door panels are the worst :( You can remove all the other panels separtely so you can pull the new trim / leather round the back, but the door panels are one piece and you cannot separate them ! Not impossible but plenty of patience needed John
  15. You call that a little spruce up !
  16. Be very careful with that cut out tool, if you want to save your windscreen in one piece !
  17. Yeah looks ok, i am tempted to buy one of these myself, but its always a worry what the fitment is going to be like with ebay stuff.... John
