  1. Does anyone watch Brainiac on SkyOne (I think). They made 4 people eat food with alcohol in (choc liquers, sherry trifle etc) to see who would fail a breath test first. The chocolate liqueurs bloke "won" and he didn't have a gargantuan amount  I think it's fine as it is but that more policing is required to enforce it esp in outlying areas. Personally I can't see the point in having ANY alcohol if you are driving
  2. I did a degree in Maths :o but Hellboy has been up since 2am this morning so my brain is mush lol
  3. 155mph within 1.1miles  Then had to brake sharpish before the forest at the end of the runway :D
  4. I've always had no probs with paypal - I think when selling reasonably small items the risk of being duped is outweighed by the flexibility and extra market you have access to :) However I don't know if I'd accept the risk for expensive items like Smithy sells, turbos, clutches etc. The high charges mount up though, they must rake it in  Pete

  15. http://www.confused.com is good, you tick the modification categories on the online quote bit. Having said that they couldn't find me anything (24, just had a claim, import TT) I paid £2,200, second car, good p/c, tracker etc, this year for insurance  but it worth it.
  16. BTT Daventry is right off J18 of the M1, and J1 of the M6. Cheers Pete

PMSL @ this line in the ad: "Once modified, they are considered "Bolt-On" and require NO fitment / wiring modifications" J-Spec zeds have one in the rear spoiler, or do you mean you'd like one eg in the top of the windscreen? I still have mine from my zed which I'm breaking whcih you can have for £20 inc p+p? Cheers Pete

  21. Hi Our current estate for lugging the baby buggy etc round with is a Vectra 140SRi but I'm looking to sell this and buy a different estate car. But although it has FVSH the mileage is now over 140k so I want something with less. It needs to be cheap :D £2-3k'ish and not dreadfully slow :nono: Something like the Vectra I guess, stiff suspension and a bit of grunt. The quick search on the net has thrown up the Mondeo ST24 Estate as an idea but these are rare. Subaru Legacy - anyone driven/owned one? What others have people had bad/good experience with? :hyper: Cheers  Pete
  22. The prize could be the bag of leftover screws  I reckon 4 ;) Good luck mate Pete
  23. Can we do a sweepstake on how many screws are left when its back together? :D
