  15. Hi I've just received payment from an ebay buy-it-now customer who has paid instantly by paypal. Now what I normally do is reply to the paypal receipt confirmation email with a thankyou and letting them know their payment was received etc. With this one customer hotmail said their email address doesn't exist  How can you have a working paypal account without the email address being an actual email address? Has anyone experienced this? Is this just unusual or is there something funny going on? I found a different address to reply to in the ebay confirmation email so replied that way, and the paypal payment has appeared in my account. Cheers people Pete

  19. Hi mate  Easy peasy, just needs the boot trim on that side removing and a few nuts and bolts and you're there. Each step is pretty obvious when you are in front of the car. I've got my aerial for sale, £40 if you're interested Good luck Pete
  20. I've got two Jap ones for sale which both fully retract fine.. Will do you the driv one for £50. If your zed is a UK one it wont fit. Edit: Yeah easy to remove/replace - door card off then a couple of big bolts :) Cheers Pete
  21. Hi I have just rung my mob phone provider Vodafone (I'm contracted direct with them since they bought out Cellular Operations) to ask for a long overdue phone upgrade, I still have a 3330 ;) which turns off randomly and is generally outdated. They wouldn't give me a "free" upgrade and said the cheapest was £50. Fook that, I'm paying line rental in order to get a phone :xxx: so I aint giving you more money. I got a "free" upgrade about 3 years ago but have been lazy since. I asked the guy if I cancelled my contract and resterted another (I've been with them about 6 years) then would I get an up to date phone? He ummmed and ahhhed and said I wouldn't lol - wtf? A new contract with no phone - how would that work??? Dickhead. I asked to speak to his manager which he refused  Saying that managers wouldn't deal direct with customers  He kept saying how £17.50 line rental doesn't fund a "£300 phone". :xxx: I dont want a £300 phone - I want whatever phone I dont have to pay out more for. I do want to stay with vodafone as my mrs and most people in my phonebook are with them and crossnetworking would cost me more. Does anyone have a decent contract with a Vodafone dealer they could recommend so I can sack these nobbers off? ;) And whats the deal with reassigning your mob number as I wouldn't want to change numbers. Cheers  Pete
  22. The door is a big rusty heavy metal up-an-over, its pretty hefty. They must have been chancers as anyone could just drill out the rivets easily and the lock would drop off. Mike they are just over a tenner per week each.
  23. [Rant] I arrived at my lockup today where my zed is stored to find the lock all busted. Looks like someone has had a go with a screwdriver :xxx::mad: My key now won't work. The garage is rented from the council who wanted a crime ref number to be able to fix it  What a waste of time - like the police will actually do anything. Looks like they are going to fix it tomorrow which is good, hopefully whichever ****er did it hasn't actually got in and fooked around in there :nono: Although I'd like to have seen the *******s try and drive it off. I checked the other garages in the row and none were damaged, I wonder if someone knew what was in there? :mac1:  TonyC - can I borrow your extension lead again, to wire up the door to the mains? :D [/Rant] Pete
  24. Take all the plastic cups out of the water dispenser, staple them all together at the tops so that they spell out the word "Tw4t" and put your "artistic construction" on the bosses desk. Then fill them all to the brim with water
  25.
