LOL Spoke too soon (or late!)

I expected replies along the lines of "spend it on your zed instead" :p It is a bloody con :mad: And who can you kick off with - just a telesales person on the phone :rolleyes:

:mad: Tell me if I am being stupid at any point in this farce... Rang up AA to get a settlement figure on a £4,000 I took out earlier this year, 4 payments made so far. Settlement figure quoted was £4,251.26 - ?!?!?!? Surely I only pay interest on payments made whilst the loan is outstanding ie 4 months worth of payments? Eg If my payment is £130 then £40 or whatever is interest. The woman on the phone didn't really know what I was on about and kept saying she'd put it in writing and that interest was "top-loaded". Now I'm financially minded but I've never heard of charging interest this way :confused: Surely a proportion of each monthly payment I make goes towards paying off the capital?? Otherwise the loan amount outstanding would increase all the time instead of decrease?? Any thoughts? Pete

Evening insomniacs ;) Fitted my new rad today - yay!! I shall go to the ball...err...Billing :cool; :D I went out for a spin to make sure everything is okay, and to fill up with Optimax. Halfway there it starts raining - no problem I thought, flicking the wipers on - but nothing :eek: Then I remembered the wiper arms are in my shed drying after i resprayed them the other day! :eek: :D. Looking good incidentally... ;) Luckily the rain was only a quick spattering so I got home ok, phew! ;) And no water leaks!!!! Get in!! :D:D Pete

Power mode automatically kicks in when you floor it, or blip the throttle a few times in quick succession. Pete

When starting up the Power button flashes 16 times :confused: When driving the engine note sounds whiney and holds 2nd gear for ages. Kickdown only works intermittantly. When booting it the gears change upward too soon ie about 5000 revs. I think the TPS connector wire was broken when fitting new PCV hoses, I've got a new one but want to confirm the TPS signal is what is upsetting the autobox, before I get the wire cutters and soldering iron out and botch it before Billing ;) i've tried the autobox diagnostic upteen times but cant get it to work :confused: The power light just flashes 16 times agin, half way through the procedure :rolleyes: :confused: Cheers Pete

I'm thinking of getting some HKS etc stickers but dont want to put them in the usual place - ie a line down the doors :rolleyes: ;) Where have people with stickers got them? Any innovative new ideas? Subtle is what I like... Cheers Pete

Yep a huuuuuge one :cool: My autobox certainly aint going anywhere for a while ;) The radiator oil pipes are blanked off further down but I still had to remove them when the rad was in the car :rolleyes: :)
