Overtaking gripe...
That was me that was  But...apology accepted :) Adam - LOL good idea, I'll start tonight, got a crowbar? ;) Did you see that Ka with the 2litre engine squeezed in at Santa Pod - I remember it got mid 13s  - glad I didn't race it. It looked standard from the outside.

Overtaking gripe...
Cos - yeah that gets me too  People who are half a mile away on a straight road when you are overtaking with ease - and they flash you  - WTF?? I think it must be some some of instant reaction ;) "Look at that nutter - overtaking someone!!! OMG!!! I'll flash him to let him know how absurdly dangerous he has been..."

Overtaking gripe...
Wrong! :D Red...ah ha - he obviously know it was the fastest colour so thats why he went for it :D Pork - I was in the Mrs's Ka so no overtaking, ever :(

I dont know the sizes sorry but I just went to Halfords and asked for locking wheel nuts for a Nissan 300ZX and they gave me McGard ones for £29.99 after looking in their book. They fit fine :) HTH Pete

Overtaking gripe...
Oh yeah - the van driver was (and still is ;) ) a twat. But the oncoming car lowered himself to twat-status :D Plus the flash went on a bit long ie until well after he'd past him...

Cheap Tweak
:D Can you alter the timing using Conzult? How does that work then? What about an "Octane Rating Detector" © P.Shrimp 2003 installed in your fuel tank which then advances or retards the timing depending on it? :D:D Pete

Dipped Bulbs
I just got this email, a reply to a request I made (ages ago  ) about prices for bulbs... Dear Peter According to our records this should be a 472 (H4) bulb. Do you just want an ordinary bulb (1.80 ea) as we also do this in White/Blue (gas discharge look alike) £12.75 per pair. Or a 30% brighter (12.75 per pair). These prices do not include VAT or postage. Payment can be by card or cheque. Regards ... H4?

Overtaking gripe...
Morning. This morning I was sat a few cars back in a queue behind 2 trucks, a van was directly behind the 2nd truck. (ok the scene is set...) The queue pulled onto a straight, but there were cars coming the other way - despite this the van went for it :eek: Now here's the bit that really got me angry  - the car coming towards him didn't slow down at all but simply turned his main beam on  Like that'll help the situation - ok he made a mistake in overtaking - so you'll gonna kill him and yourself as punishment  ?? Why do people do this?? Ok the van driver was a numptie but slow down and let him through!!! Swear at him afterwards etc... In the end the lorries jammed their brakes on and the van *just* slipped through. Rant over, feel free to join in with your own stories ;) Pete

What alloys on what cars?
This could prove to be a useful topic when searched for... What cars' alloys will fit ours? Eg will alloys that fit a Skyline fit straight on a 300ZX? What about other jap manufacturers? And will our wheels fit eg a 200SX or Pulsar GTiR? Or am I being oversimplistic with regards to different years etc? Cheers :) Pete

front PCV hoses
Agree with Vijay - long nosed pliers are essential. Also don't worry about ripping the old ones to bits ;) Like the rear ones - once you've oriented (!) the little clips the right way thats the hard part over. Pete

Cheap Tweak
I wouldn't go playing with the timing on its own unless you know what you are doing, and have money for repairs ;)

AC Removal
Yeah think of the effect on your 1/4 mile times :D Seriously - the effect must be great on cooling - that aircon rad (is that called the condenser?) is right in the way of the radiator. What about relocating the aircon rad?

Speaker question
