Heavy boot
When its v cold the supports often fail to hold the tailgate, I guess because the air inside is less dense. Pete

How to get 400 BHP ?
Is it too far away to post the "What BHP will you make at Thor?" thread? :D I got 348BHP (and 403, 397, etc ;) ) at the SE one @ 12psi, now running 15psi (and a grounding kit!!!) so I'd hope for 375/380 - not far off 400BHP ;). I've got stock turbos, intercoolers, injectors. It certainly feels a lot quicker at 15psi than 12, especially at higher speeds. Pete

I want a 300ZX TT but...
Cheers for the compliments Matty and Rich  Paul - if you want any info, specific pictures etc of mine  drop me an email: nospampeter_edgar@hotmail.com (lose the "nospam bit, its for spam avoidance purposes ;) ) Yeah buying from this forum will give you a history of the car whilst its been owned which gives some peace of mind not available usually. Condition is the big factor, not transmission type - each have their own performance and driveability aqdvantages. Cheers and good luck Pete

fuel pump fuse
Ahh reet, yeah I remember, yeah Halfords or Nissan?
-
fuel pump fuse
I think they're the universal ones (anyone confirm?), if so they cost 50p'ish each from any motor factors or most petrol stations.

fuel pump fuse
Should only run for a couple of seconds at most, if it even starts. Funny this happened on mine and I thought it had been bypassed for some reason (immobiliser?) but when I tried it again a few months later to install fuel filter and braided kit it stalled straight way as it should  Got the right fuse? ;) Pete

low front end
Yeah it works because your leading wheel hits the bump sooner than it would if you drove straight, 2 wheels together, so it lifts the front up earlier.

Anyone tried these Strut Bars?
Yeah I've got that same rear one, it fits fine and the quality and sturdiness surprised me considering the price, budget a fair amount of postage mind - mine was just under £30 IIRC for only the rear.

vacuum hoses
Alongside the RHS of the balance bar there are black metal fuel and air lines bolted to the plenum. These are what the fuel line kit replaces, however there are also metal and rubber air lines attached, so when you take off the hard fuel lines the air ones come with it leaving a gap. You need a length (about 18" IIRC) of 4mm silicon hose to bridge the gap created Ahh found a pic: I've ringed the stuff thats replaced by the kit. The red blob on the FPR is where this extra silicon hose attaches, the other end goes down by the battery and is obvious when you are looking at the car and following the stock hoses ;) You can see the hard piping, the air bit being the small section on the bottom. Pete

vacuum hoses
Oh and you will need a bit of 4mm silicon hosing anyway whilst fitting the fuel line kit, as the hard fuel/air lines are bypassed and taken off. And change your fuel filter whilst fitting the kit too - its silly not to ;)

vacuum hoses
Drop him a PM, he'll have some. The fuel lines - yep its a kit for the 300ZX, the right length pre-braided hoses with shiney end bits and a shiny spacer. Really is an excellent quality sturdy piece of kit  And no I'm not on commission :D Here's pic (before I McSprayed my engine bay:D ) Pete
