what do you think of the video when it shows on o2 sensor at half way and the other only at 1/4? these are both new sensors

opened up ecu and found a little bit of white but nothing serious by the looks

Hi All. Just got back in after finally getting conzult to work and i thought i would be best to take some vids and pictures. the software still freezes after about 20secs of using it but i thinking there is a problem with the ecu. everytime i connect with the software i get different ecu number. also the vehicle thinks it a manual?? here are the vids and pics, see what you make of them. also i get different fault codes all the time and the data is always jumping. Pictures Videos I think i might need a new ECU lol

As ive been trying to get my diag software to work i removed the ecu to reconnect plug and check pins. but while removing i noticed that the ecu looks like its been messed with. i took some pics to show you. it also hasnt got a diag switch on the side looks like its missing. the screws on the ecu to hold the cover on have been moved aswell. didnt open it up tho. do you think it could be faulty. had on going misfire issues and when i connect the diag software the data is very jumpy like its getting an intermittent signal.

SORTED!! removed plug from ecu and refitted and now i can see my data while running but my laptop battery died lol. the data from the 10 secs i seen was very jumpy, battery voltage, throttle position etc was all very jumpy going to 0 then settle to correct position etc?

Just got fault code 20 from the ECU? any ideas what that is?

Hi got a DIY cable and different software. can connect when ign on and see the data e.g. tps,battery voltage and fault codes etc etc but when i start the vehiclen they all freeze?? this happens on all the software? Any advise why this happens?

Hi all, what could cause rough running/misfire up till 2500rpms? engine idles and revs with a misfire untill 2500rpm then after that is nice and smooth? does any controller turn off after 2500rpm? Regards Andy

i think that will sell for about £2300, but wouldnt offer that of course just see how the bidding goes first

thanks for the replies guys. sounds like i might have found a car finally. they got a 2003 auto at the local BMW garage to me might go and test drive it. i know its an auto but get a feel for the vehicle. thanks again all

Hi all, been thinking of getting rid of the fiesta for sometime now but nothing has really got my attention. Always wanted a BMW but never thought i would get one in my price range. Just been looking on autotrader and you can get a BMW 330ci 2001 for about £5k fully loaded! i think thats a bargin for the car you get and 0-60 in 6.3secs. What you all think?? Regards Andy

this is good to see, i feel at home now with everyone spending loads of money on their Zeds. but one thing sticks out, most of us have spent more on the car then what we paid for it lol ZEDS = MONEY PIT lol but i love them still lol. Hope the mrs dont see this thread.
