with some help from legrath:) the zed has R12 Gas which is not allowed anymore. But you can get new valve fitting for the R134a Gas and then it can be regassed. So i pressume the aircon chap has to fit the new valve ect? dan.:D

got a mate with a 1990 auto tt went to get his aircon charged and they told him they can not do it because its old type gas and would need new fittings to fit the new gas! is that true or not? dan.:confused:

we cornwall members bin playing with the idea of some sort of a rally to raise money for our local CLIC (Cancel Leukemia in Children.)unit at treliske hospital, its an idea which we are hoping could be a yearly event some time in august would involve a small fee to enter you can be sponsord and perhaps a collection ALL MONEY goes to the CLIC UNIT. The idea is to leave somewhere in cornwall drive to perhaps bristol area meet up and maybe do something and drive back to cornwall where we would gather at Cornish Wreckers, he has a field which we can use to meet and anyone wanting to stay can camp, if your interested or got some ideas PLEASE let us know. dan. :D

just had a look at mines and your 3rd pic does connect up to plenum as Daves_Zed said, any loose pipes that provide a vacuum would surely leek if not connected or blanked off? sure the carbon cannister has a pipe from the back of the balance bar that would need blanking if you remove. dan.:)

i like them, would like a pic for me zed with the pic from me avator in background if anyone can get done for me? dan.:)
