had the car on a ramp on saturday and was told by mechanic that the big rubber bush on the rear of the suspension was goosed its all dropping to bits and lots of play in it is it an easy job to do or is it back to the garage time sorry im not technically minded so im not sure exactly what the name of the bush is but its as big as a cup and its in the rear suspension leg that bolts into the floor of the car many thanx for any advise matty

i had same problem mate in my n/a turned out my crank oil seal was leaking and vomiting oil all over my engine and zorst but could be ya clutch depends on the type of burning smell ( oily or clutchy ) hth matty

my first club meet today organised by sarah got to say shame on you all for not turning up sarah was sobbing into her baileys but did manage to meet mr duff and had a top afternoon talking about cars , top gear , commedians , commitees etc all whilst enjoying a nice cold pint and top food cheers sarah and andy a pleasure to meet you and cant wait for the next 1
